Thankfully some more people noticed it. The A-Spec mode of GT5 is a complete and utter joke - and a bad one at that. I think they relied on us to "do our own content" by racing online, but that doesn't quite work out if PSN is caught with it's pants down at its ankles by a bunch of pimple-faced script-kiddies, does it.
Don't even get me started on B-Spec. They just copy/pasted the meagre A-Spec events to bloat content. Why in the name of all that's holy should I stare at my screen, watching the game play itself, even moreso when it sucks at doing so
The downed PSN nearly wrecked our annual German GT forum meeting last weekend. Thankfully, there are other games that don't bog down, because some hackers walk into a badly secured server system, so the German GT community had fun without Granturismo (mainly by drinking much beer and playing Shift2, LFS and iRacing).
For all those who hope for more events by DLC. I hate to piss all over your parade, but that's not going to happen. PD have given up on GT5 already. You can see it by the half-arsed way they designed it. After all, they already have our money haven't they.
What I did was getting my hands on a copy of GT2 - the best GT ever made. It took two days to refamiliarize with the Lego-graphics, but since then, I've had an absolute blast, oh and btw. GT2 has race mods for 400+ cars, not only 17
To me GT5 is all bling and no substance. I compare it to the big-busted blonde with an empty skull. Sorry, but I prefer the slightly less stacked neighbours daughter that can add 1+1 and comes up with something other than 11. And she doesnt dribble or make animal noises, while trying to riddle it out.
