Having lamborigini would be nice, but it's really not that important, to me at least, I wouldn't feel bad if Lambo isn't in, the cars just never really interested me.

Now Porche, I really want to drive a Porche Carerra GT. Ever since seeing an youtube of it with it pulling in out of nowhere, sounding like a fox.

I disagree. Lamborghini is an essential part of automobile history along with Porsche. I mean, sure, if they don't include them, then the whole world isn't going to explode but, I think it is time that the Lambo and the Porsche find its place in the GT game.

Seems to me that the visually stunning nature of Gran Turismo and Lamborghini would be a match made in Heaven.

The Gallardo, Murcielago, Countach, Diablo all in GT-quality HD goodness...I can't think of anything, visually, that'd be better. Remember the outstanding footage of the Murcielago in the Dark Knight? Its smooth, endless lines are a film maker's (not to mention video game maker's) wet dream!

Which new cars do you think will prove the most interesting?
We’re still working on it, obviously, but merely from the cars in the E3 demo version, we have the Spec V GTR and the Ferrari Enzo.

If this is the case, I'm inclined to believe that Lamborghini and Porsche have not been signed yet. Perhaps that is a major factor in GT5's delay. They got plenty of time before the now rumored and heavily favorited December release. Take your time, PD. LET THESE BOYS IN!

Audi A.G. owns the Lamborghini copyrights.

I have also heard that Lamborghini would be in GT5 - and this is recent, like within the past 4 months. I think Porsche will be in GT5 and so will the Bugatti Veyron.

It totally makes sense for Lambo to be in because "VAG" (volkswagen audi group) not "AG" owns the rights to Lambo but they now have a hand in the design and manufacture of said product, Bugatti is in the same boat. I would think you would have rights across the board for their products. Dubs, Audis but no Lambo?! That wouldnt make sense to me...

Could we see the gambit? Skoda, Seat, Lamborghini, Bugatti and Bentley???

Correct. It was listed as a BMW because PD didn't have the licence for McLaren.

Technically it is a BMW, its powered by such. It might not of cost a million buxs had BMW manufactured the thing haha...

I believe I read somewhere long ago that EA had contracts with Ferrari, Porsche, and Lamborghini, that stated that EA had exclusive rights for their cars only on the Playstation 2 gaming console. Sorry, I don't remember the source.
That's true, but that was also long, long ago.

Doesn't work that way, I'm afraid. VAG can't force its companies to give out licenses to anyone & everyone. They have much more pressing issues on their hands anyways, to be asked the license for a company they own.

It's powered by BMW, but that's not why it was under BMW. Has more to do along the lines with the BMW Motorsports-backing of that particular F1.

They can also be Dlc and psp has 800 and theres connectivity too.

If that's the case, then they have been slacking too much in the last 4.5 years. And if they are DLC, it better be after a few months (3-5). It is just more logical to have them in the final product on release day. It shows commitment above all.

If Gran Turismo 5 manages to add Maserati, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti AND Mclaren, it will surpass everything I have expected. GT has always had great manufacturers in their games, but this is 2009, nearly 2010, and Lamborghini's, Porsches, etc, are more relevant than ever. They embody good looks with menacing power; Plus, they are seen in so many music videos and movies and we all know that no other series does it better than Gran Turismo. Because we have heard from amar that there should be 600+ cars, I'd expect quite a few (less important) cars to be dropped from what we saw in GT4 (special tuners such as Spoon, Tom's, etc). I also expect to see fewer cars with low HP (below 100 HP) to make up for all these manufacturers that build fast cars (Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche and so on). Or maybe it will be proportionate to GT4..... Who knows? But what I do know is that Gran Turismo 5 would leap into a different realm of racing with these manufacturers. The addition of Ferrari is obvious and major evidence of the natural progression of the Gran Turismo series. PD couldn't afford NOT to.

I did that because it that long post of mine quickly dropped to the bottom of the last page, and a new page has just been created. So, no one would have read it (or so I thought) lol.

Yeah but they're pulling all stops im confident they'll get Porsche and Lamborghini.

^ So meaning to say that, you'd rather like to have PGR/TD:U-like car selection? Um, no. :indiff:

No, no, I'd just like to play a GT title with the manufacturers I mentioned.

That's all fine and good, I'd want those manafacturers too, but you're saying you want them to ditch other manafacturers in favour for Porsche and Lambo.

Let's think of this through PD's perspective, you want them to ditch Spoon and HKS and other tuner companies who have been undemanding of PD and have always allowed them to use their cars probably with little or no charge for manafacturers who always denied them that freedom and want them to bend over backwards in order for them to get their cars into the game?

I wouldn't cry, and I don't think PD would really lose sleep over it. I mean, yea, they deserve to be in the game, but if it came down to them adding only 10 more cars due to the demanding work it requires, space on the disc, etc, I would imagine Porsche and Lamborghini would be a priority. I do agree that those tuner companies are under-demanding and are worthy to be in the final game. However, at the end of the day, a bright orange Lamborghini Murcielago>>>>Black and white Spoon Integra.

Ideally, they'd all be there, and likely they will....or so I hope.

The lamborghini cars is most expect for me in this game... With quality from gt5, the battles from Lamborghini vs Ferrari will be epic!!!

If Vw > Audi > Lambo, we have vw and audi... why not lambo?

I'll agree with that.

When both GT5 & F3 are out, I'll look at it side by side and see who has Porsche, Lambo, Ferrari, Spa, day/night & weather and I'll buy whichever ticks most of the boxes. I know F3 will have 3 of those so far...

PD's reluctance to aquire Lambo and porsche and other exotics, has always struck me as rather odd, why can other games with smaller bugets and unit sales have these manufactures whilst PD cant ???

The money argument does not seem to fit, PD is a major games developer, surely they could afford even a 1 model from lambo or porsche.

although i have no facts to back this up, i have always suspected the real reason was that Kaz is reluctent to add them is because they might steal the focus from the other manufactures, Kaz has included quite a few oddball cars that arnt exactly populare with the masses but are important in terms of automotive history, perhaps he been putting off the high profile exotics so players dont just automatically go straight for a Lam/por/ferra.

Audi R8 in GT5P has a lots of Gallardo parts so I'm told from a friend of mine from Italy. So its already begun I hope.
