hey if u don want skylines u can make ur own game :P

USE ENGLISH TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY. There's nothing wrong with ignorance - it can be fixed. But actively trying to look illiterate, and taking pride in your ignorance is not forgivable. Funny thing - it's always u ppl that spel like ur azn homie driftin stuntaz 4eva that whine the most about how all of us "haterz" don't respect you. Coincidence? I think not.
Note also that the "azn" reference above is not intended to single out one particular ethnic group. It's intended to illustrate the laziness of that grammatical style. Typing it that way saves precisely 2 keystrokes, and it interferes with the legibility enough that several people had to ask what it meant.

Just "saying".

You found it from the V8 supercars thread made in this forum.

I never doubted they were in the "to do" list for GT, it's just a matter of time really.

I've just found an old interview :

http://blogs.theage.com.au/screenplay/archives//003273.html

"You've finally got Ferrari on board, what other cars or manufacturers are on your wish list for Gran Turismo?

Porsche and Lamborghini, which hopefully we will get around to. Maybe not this time, but they are on our shopping list. "

that interview was posted September 28, 2006 12:01 AM

you would think 3 years later they could get the porsche and lamborghini liscense's

I hope i'm proven wrong, but if the game is supposedly "ready for release" they would already have Porsche/Lamborghini modeled in the game, and would have showed it at E3.
But, I hope I'm wrong!

We don't know if they have or haven't. Ferrari was announced as it was a big thing for GTHD/GT5P but I am sure they wouldn't want to announce the lot in GT5P. We will see if they have the licenses for GT5.

Maybe... Ready for release unless they get the manufacturers permission???

Was there ever any indication prior to the GT HD Trailier that Ferrari was gonna be in? There has been no indication that Lamborghini (Or Porsche) will be in. Even if they don't, its not to say they didn't try at all. Lets see anyone here try to convince essentially big companies to put there name in your product and negotiate around the rediculous high price they demand.

doesntlikedede
My point being, if PD finally manage to tame the Italian Stallion, then surely then can suppress a Raging Bull?

Don't assume it'll be easy. After all, the Italian Stallion and the Raging Bull are two different Animals.

I think it's a bit late to do that. Also, e-mail is highly informal. Try writing a letter. Even still, one letter would be ineffective.

Didn't someone do exactly that with Pagani about two years ago? I distinctly recall that they answered, saying that PD had not gotten any license or something like that. However, they obviously have it now.

What is so informal about an email? I agree that a letter will be more formal, but PD are still normal people, and an email is the best and surest way to contact them. Plus, an email can be very formal and polite, even to Japanese.

Has that been confirmed?

Not officially but considering they're back in GT PSP I think it's safe to assume they'll be back in GT5 since Polyphony renewed the licence.

It would really be a huge surprise and a huge disappointment if they were not included,Pagani is one of the rare supercars brand GT has ever had .

There isnt any email Address for Polyphony Digital on their website anywhere. I will however try Lamborghini. We'd probably have more luck there as Polyphony keep their fans like mushrooms. Keep us in the dark and feed us.. well you know.

Edit: I've just had a thought.. We could try contacting Audi as they own Lamborghini anyway.. why didn't I think of that earlier? that also brings me to something. If they gave PD the licence to use Audis, then surely they can do the same with Lamborghini.

I would be very suprised if they hadn't signed some kind of NDA to keep it all hush, hush for the big reveal [speculatively speaking of course].

Well think about it. Whats the competition of Ferrari? Lamborghini. Like GM vs Ford. or Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution vs Subaru Impreza WRX.. etc. To me it doesn't seem to make sense to have just Ferrari without any other exotic car manufacturer. Would certainly think that they'd include the competition for fans to pick and choose and compare.

Did you consider that just MAYBE the contract is bound to secrecy?
