Lamborghini in GT5!

I know Codemasters got the contract for F1 EA's contract ran out, but only read that a few days ago.So if F1 cars will be in it, they will be without the drivers names and other essential parts of F1.

I think Codemasters having the license is merely the license of the "F1" logo, "Formula 1" name and other specicific logos and the Grand Prix names (like the Santander British Grand Prix) owned by FOM. I'm not sure the drivers names are necessarily tied to the license itself just like the cars and tracks, infact anything not owned by FOM are not contractually exclusive to the F1 license.

(although it is actually only confirmed for GT PSP, I think we can take this as meaning Lamborghini will be in GT5!)
 
Indeed, I am happy to see that the car in question was an older one too, I would expect the new models but the older models are a great addition.
 
Its going to be real difficult knowning that when I buy these cars they will get smashed up now, hopefully if damage is on all cars that is

Umm, just a thought, but in SimBin's latest game (not new, GTR Evo), there are no lambos or porsches, does that mean they lost their license to another developer? *cough*P*cough*D*cough*

If its not in GT.. then theres always Shift or Supercar Challenge :p I think it WILL be in those games.. or something real similar..
 
Ok, so Lambo are highly likely to be in GT5. Which models do you expect to see. I'm not after a wish list containing every model of Lamborghini ever, i just wonder which models you think will be included in the initial (non-DLC) line-up?

I'd put my money on:
Miura SV
Countach LP400
Countach 25th Anniversary
Diablo 6.0VT
Murciélago LP670-4 SV
Murciélago R-GT
Gallardo 560-4
 
I wouldnt put my money on them but i guess (and hope):
Countach LP400
Miura SV
Diablo 6.0VT
Diablo SV
Murcielago
Murcielago GT-R
And some Gallardos i dont like...

Being fair, I think your list is too much big. When they added Seat and Hyundai on GT4 was only one model. I'm glad only knowing they have the brand license, I don't expect more than one or two models when the games will be launched.
 
Just a thought, but wasn't the Countach LP400 (also in orange) the winner of that car show that Kaz judges at? If thats the case, it doesn't confirm any other Lambo's will be in there, although I sure hope I'm wrong! GT should have Lambo and Porsche in it, it should be the law or something... :)
 
I dunno, all these cars are extremely popular, unlike the Bugattis.
I could imagine only the Veyron (ugh) for Bugatti and a couple of more Lambos, like with Ferrari.

By the way: I just imagined how it will be to drive with the Countach against the 512BB. 8)

EDIT: No he awarded a Miura at the Concours de Elegance i think, but it was a Miura.

Seat and Hyundai hardly make the sort of cars that we all dream about driving do they? They're hardly in the same league as Lamborghini.

GT5:Prologue has 6 Ferraris. I don't think 7 Lambos in the full game is being overly hopeful.

No the winning car was an orange Miura IRC.

On another note, I don't think the EB110 ontop of the Veyron is all that unlikely.

You are ;) The car that won that PD contest was a Lamborghini Miura. Also, the blog post by Stephanie Yoshimoto of SCEA actually confirms that "this won’t be the last Lamborghini in a Gran Turismo game, either."
 
It wasnt officially licensed as Lamborghini and also only in the Japanese version.
There also was a Porsche hidden on the Japanese disc.
