For the noobs, you can only transfer the cars into the arcade mode, not the GT career mode. Also, you won't be able to transfer your credits from GT5:P.

[please] :D
I thought I remembered reading differently, but I couldn't find anything that clearly stated either way. Do me a favor and set me straight. :)

Pie 'n' Peas
(GTP trolling)

lol

Now that, good sir, is the way to make a good name for yourself.
/sarcasm

I pre-ordered from Gamestop, so I plan to download the McLaren and Joey Logano's car, then insert the disc and start the game[I might install or not] then try to see if I can import my PSP cars, then try out my hometrack of Daytona with either the McLaren or Logano's car.

I've pre-ordered from Amazon, so it'll probably arrive sometime on the Friday. My brother has ordered his from GAME, so maybe he'll have it on the Thursday; if so, I know where I'll be that evening... :D

"Remember remember the fifth of November..." we're doing our bonfire shenanigans on the Saturday, so Friday evening will probably be dedicated to some social GT5-ing. Still gives me the afternoon to explore GT-Life a bit. 👍

What makes you think I want to make a good name for myself? There is nothing worse than a forum full of suck-ups that constantly agree with each other, defend each other, and generally act like a bunch of nervous babies who daren't say anything against the grain.

So somebody has to work lates that week...big freakin' deal. It's not like they have any less time to play the game. I've got three client site visits that week and two major contracts that need to be delivered by the end of it, on top of running and marketing my own business...you don't see me moaning and whining about lack of time.

If you are going to end with "/sarcasm", at least write it properly and well-formed...

might take the day off, I cant contain myself any longer.

Good....good..... now explain having a go at somebody who said 'GT5 isn't at it's best with a controller. It is a new game with a wheel'.............

Quite easy, week off ( not related ), food/drinks/nicotine supply gathered beforehand, early morning, jump on my bike and nip to the nearest store which sell copies of GT5.
Buy it, ride home, mug of coffee ready and insert disc.
Whatever happens next depends on what's on that disc.

Hmm... will probably happen pretty close to this:

-pick up game from gamestop on the 2nd as soon as they open
-bring home to already prepared racing stand and cooler stocked with home brew and snacks
-install
-watch full intro
-flip through the menu to get a feel for it
-find the quickest way into a decently powerful FR car and find out in about 2 turns if the physics are any good
-GT5 all day long either way

Had to  at this

I know right lol, I wish I would have told my parents that I'm not going to school to play video games when I was in school lol. I would have missed the games release.... cause I would have been unconscious.

Click on the Product details tab

GAME Website
Players who own Gran Turismo PSP and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue can transfer cars unlocked in that game directly to their garage in Gran Turismo 5 for use in Arcade Mode through special cross-talk interoperability.

The postman will usually leave it at the delivery address unless the recipient needs to sign for it. So if he has a mail slot in his door, it should be possible to find the package on the mat.

Seriously?? Never knew that! Do you think GT5CE is signature worthy?? :scared:

its holiday from school 1 week when gt5 comes. so im gonna play 24/7 :D

Besides you don't have a garage in Arcade mode. The way I expect it to work is you'll be able to unlock the cars in arcade, the same way they would unlock if you bought them in GT mode.

Set the dog on the postie for turning up at 1pm instead of 1am

CMON PEOPLE! I asked what your plans are for the launch. There is enough threads where you can explain what you will do first after installing the game.

You are right in that you don't have a garage of your own cars in Arcade mode, but you do unlock cars as you complete the races on the circuits (GT 1, 2 & 4 had this, can't remember about GT3). Presumably though, the cars that you have in your garage in GT5:P that can be unlocked in GT5 Arcade will be unlocked when you transfer your save game from GT5:P.

As for trusting info from a retailer's site, I have read this before in GTP, and the forums, but unfortunately I was unable to locate it.

Probaly take control of my school bus and speed home. :D (I don't have a clue about how to drive but hey, it'll be good practice for GT5)

Then run around the house screaming YEEESSSSSS!!!!!! Then boot up the ol' phatboy and prepare for the Ultimate driving simulation...

And for those that didn't guess, the first bit was a joke.

Dont forget about adding your most used cars to the "favorites" list (like in gt4).

Hmm...

I go to school Tuesday, so when I wake up, *In The Air Tonight plays* i'm going to setup my G25 with GT5 waiting for me on my seat & have an epic breakfast after.

Right before I leave school i'm going to put a racing suit on with racing shoes & a helmet, *Chariots of Fire plays* & walk out my school in slow motion to one of many lucky Playstation's in the world :sly:

What postal man leaves a package all on it's own, I think that he will take it back if there is no owner in the house. So you will have to go to your local Postal Office to pick up the package.

In the UK unless the parcel/package/letter requires a signature the post man will simply drop it through the letter box unless obviously it wont fit then yeh you have to collect if from the office or arrange to have it redelivered.

This being just a small package it will fit through my letter box so it should be sittin on my mat as i get in bout 4.30 like i said.

Its 3 weeks this friday coming and i absolutley cannot wait:)

Day booked off work, have the weekend off.

Going to get Signature and Collector's Edition.

Going to either go to my friend's house or he's going to come to my house and we're going to do, if possible, a 24 hour endurance race (even if we have to just have to set it for infinite time trial) on the Nordschleife in a GT-R with each of us taking shifts to drive it, only swapping when pitted, no pausing. Maybe need more people though! :D

I have launch day off work so I can pop up and buy it, but I haven't preordered it. Still trying to work out whether it's worth it preordering or just collecting from the shop...
