Yeah - there were 8 of us - a good start. Racing was fair - crashes were through error rather than malicious as far as I could tell.
 
Crashes seem to happen because cars are nearest than they appear to be or so it seems.

It makes it difficult to overtake but its fun nonetheless.

After that, me, racerpaul and fatkrakr did rouen and hockenheim.

It's great to race you all and if you see me online do invite me... I need practice :D otherwise, see you next week. 👍
 
Yeah it was fun guys. No major incidents and all raced clean. Thank you to all that turned up. Next week is giong to be more chellenging. I can assure you that. Results to be posted on Monday evening and the events for next week's meeting 👍

I agree, I got punted once but I don't think it was intentional. I turned derbybirdy around (sorry!) but it looked like there was enough room on the inside. From my vantage point it seemed to be good clean racing.
 
I gotta do this, But I stopped playing SHIFT 2 for awhile so I am bad. I have to get used to it all over again.

I just wish they fixed the few things that are wrong, they seem to stick out more for me now

Thank you all. Good clean racing from everyone . Round 2 will be posted tomorrow night. The race organisers are debating how to speed things up next Sunday :sly:

That was lots of fun.

I must say, Starting in 3rd, 1st, 2nd positions in each 3 races was the real factor in making a podium. I think the game "knows" the slower ones need to be up front!

I wish we could dictate who starts where so the people getting shafted in the back can get a start at the front.

So we send the time attack times to you or what?

I'm not sure i'll have the time to practice. At least I know the tracks but I foresee some difficult handling cars after a turbo upgrade...

I hope I'm wrong otherwise it'll be a crash fest :D

These look like they will be excelent races (love the Mk1 Escort) - sadly I will not be able take part as I will be in Istanbul then. I'll be back for the Sunday after that though.

Looks like I will be taking a hit in the points this Sunday... having a group over for a Father's Day barbecue. Hope to return next weekend.
 
Same here...looks like the wife and kids are taking me somewhere for Fathers day as well. Will be back next week though.
