What time do you want to race on Sundays?

Guys, I have had some requests to postpone Sunday's race as quite a few participants can't make it. To keep the series competitive, I think it is reasonable to do that.

I am planning to host a few races with GT3 and GT1 cars instead, just to keep us in the racing mode. This will just be an informal get together and not be part of the Legends Series. Please let me know if you want to race on Sunday 10/07/11 @ 8pm GMT. If there is enough interest, I will plan a few tracks and cars asap so that we can start practicing. I will post the datails in this thread. Hope to see you guys 👍
 
Thank you Zee, I m convinced now that I couldnt have made it on Sunday! Work is starting to pile up left and right... :nervous:
 
Count me in Zee. I haven't spent much time with the GT cars and this would give me a good reason.
 
I am 80% sure I can. Of course GT3 and GT1 cars I am the worst at, it will still be fun.
 
I forgot how much fun the GT cars are, even more so racing them on the Legend Tracks :):)

I selected one Legends and one modern GP circuit for each car, just to make things interesting. The circuits are all brilliant for some close racing 👍

So for Sunday:
-- use any GT3/GT1 you like
-- tuning allowed
-- views all
-- head to head racing ( probably 3 laps for each race )
-- daytime

RACE 1
car : GT3
circuit : Rouen Short (1952)

RACE2
car : GT3
Silverstone GP

RACE3
car : GT1
circuit : Rouen GP (1966)

RACE4
car : GT1
circuit : Suzuka GP

This is going to be fun :D

Edit: if any GTP members want to join (that is not part of our Legends Series) you are welcome, as long as you follow our rules in the OP. Just put your name down that I can add you to the list 👍

Zeeco, have you thought of having Nordschleife as the last race for the Legends championship? Maybe have it worth 3x the normal points or so for two reasons - one hellava track to master (and win!) and it would give a chance for a racer to make a larger gain on the points front runner. Maybe even more than one lap :nervous: to see if the combatants are in shape:)

Your correct FLX1981, I seem to remember someone mentioning Nordschleife for a Legends race - thought I was just elaborating. My memory is good, just very short - apparently a couple pages short:dunce:
 
Thanks Bmw and Muso for some close racing tonight. We should do this more often.

I was thinking of some online racing during the week. Whoever feels like some racing online, could just post a time and day and anyone wanting to join can then just put the name down. This can be an open invitation, any class and any event, whatever you feel like doing. Maybe this is a new thread? What do you guys think. 💡
 
I think that online racing during week would be nice, I have not been able to participate yet on weekends because of my present schedule.

Also I think Nordschleife racing stock 914/6 would be good because the car is small and handles relatively well.
 
Enjoyed it tremendously tonight , even though i finished last 4 times !!! I really need to practice more . But i'd much rather do my practice online , and have a laugh at the same time , so anything you come up with , count me in , just give a date and time and i'll be there .

I think there are a lot of people in the same situation as you are. It will be nice to meet some new friends and do some decent clean racing online. I will send you a friends request soon 👍

I agree with you Muso it is so much more fun racing with friends. It keeps you on the edge and you can have a laugh at the same time.

Watch what you wish for...muso will distract you with some nice conversation right around the time your hitting 188 MPH coming up to hard right:crazy: Just kidding muso:)
It is hilarious to hear an OHHHH SH%*@ once and awhile. A mic also comes in handy in explaining some lamebrain move you just made in an attempt to pick up a position:ouch:

God I cant wait to get home tonight and play Shift 2 longer than 5 mins for the first time in almost 2 weeks... :cheers:

Also, yeah where is Round4?

And lastley, races during the week would be great. Just plain fun. Can do a basic round the table game. One person picks car class/track, then next person picks, so on and so on.
 
Vaxx if you're doing races during the week let me know (if the times right ) and i'll be there , i need the practise badly , i think i've been spoilt b racing online with you guys , so now i don't go on much unless i can get online with real people .Alas the problem racing with randoms though is well documented :scared:

I got a buddy new to the game that I play with just about every night (around 8ish PM Central Standard Time). We basically just take turns picking what to race and testing tunes etc. Sometimes with AI, sometimes just 2 of us.

Thing that sucks is the time zones. Seems most everyone is spread out.
 
Sorry guys but real lif is interfering seriously with my racing :sly:

Round 4 is in the OP. Europe will have to pull one out of the bag this Sunday :nervous:

Muso, Vaxx is 6 hrs behind us ( GMT -5). We are currently GMT +1.

FLX is an hour ahead of us.

Rom is the same as the UK :)

I am not sure about BMW, fatkrakr and Texas
