The alpine is a good car for tokyo, but are many better cars for this race. Try an AWD. They dominate in tokyo
Lambos are great, but so far according to a guy on the FB group, the Alpine is the fastest. He's tested almost 30 cars, pretty thoroughly...

Waiting for the Boss 429 to return. Need to add seven more, for a Ford vs Chevy 1969 Battle I'm creating.

Best lap i could do in alpine was 2:10.xxx, best lap i did in lambo aventador sv was 2:06.xxx

The audi quattro gr b arrived today, as expected.
Next one will probably be the jeep willy and the one after shelby cobra daytona.

Not on the game right now.

How much does it cost?

Is it a good car to have for Racing purposes?

The Alpine can do easy sub 2 minute times and in better hands they can be capable of sub 1:50. The 2J is fast too but isn't that on comfort tyres, so it handles like ass?

Ok I found thoses timers pretty strange. I mean pushing myself to the limit with alpine got me only a 2:10.xxx best lap when some guy on the internet does 2:02.xxx. That was way too big of a diference.
So I went to youtube and found out whats happening. There is a glitch in the alpine tunning that allows it to use racing softs and get a PP of just 591 (when normally it would have gone above 700).
Bought another alpine (couldnt do it my original one because it got permanent parts on it), tuned according to that glitch and, voilá, got a best lap of 2:00.200.
No wonder people are doing absurd times with this car, its using racing softs!
Its another exploit tune just like the chaparal 2j one. You are essencially driving a 700+pp car on a 600pp race.
Here is video proof:

16 million on credit. Hopely tomorrow the 917 arrive in store. :)

That's a lot of credits! It's worth it?
Serious? I have it since the last time it appeared in LCD and it's trash to me, nice to look at though. Do you have a tune because i'd love to use it?

You can easy win le mans and tokyo wtc600 with it

A question on the up/down arrows. If a car is showing a down arrow, is there any point buying it in this rotation? Or should we wait for the next time round to get it cheaper (if it's one we don't mind waiting for...) ???

Supposedly no because it should be cheaper next time around. But really, I have the credits now. If I don't spend them on a car with a down arrow now, I'll just spend it on something else and won't have it for when it's up next. Also when you're broke, there's more motivation to get credits again. After I get a couple of million saved up, I just sort of tend to sit on it and not make more. Essentially being poor keeps me motivated lol.

I found it too tail happy happy happy, like Pharrell Williams
Someone suggested levelling the front and rear ride height to 80/80.

I tried it and it's more stable now.

I want it. So yeah maybe it is worth it. Gonna make nice livery it and give some love in lemans 700pp. I don't have any tune for it. I would be disapointed for sad tail. So happy is good.

Urghhh. Nothing new, of course.

Tomorrow should be a good day , however, with 3 'Sold Out' cars in the LCD, 3 more should come in.

Hoping for the Castrol Supra and the Alfa 155.

Would like the Mclaren F1 Road Car but the prospect of 19-20M creds is a massive deterent.

I suspect the Daytona is the next 20M car.

I want confirmation of this too. Does a down arrow mean the car will be cheaper next time it appears, so best to wait, or does it mean it’s cheaper now than it was last time it appeared, so maybe now’s a good time to buy? Inverse for up arrows of course. No explanation in game as far as I can tell.

I've got just under 18 mil in readiness for the 917K when it rolls around next, but the 550 Spyder is also high on my list - if it is cheaper next time I'll wait, otherwise I need to grab it now and do a load of grinding to refill my funds in time for the 917K to arrive...

Exactly my dilemma too, except I’m waiting for the F1 road car (hopefully in a nice colour), 19 million banked, but want the blue Spyder and wondering whether to leave it for now...

If someone has the answer on this it would be muchly appreciated! Wouldn't mind waiting for the 550 to show up again later if the down arrow means it's going to be the same or cheaper...
