What a load of FAIL.

James May and his full-size Lego house nobody wants

I've known about this project since the planning stages, and am just disgusted at the complete lack of competence throughout, culminating in the whole thing being bulldozed on tuesday morning unless someone can remove it before then!

I'll take it, it's awesome! Mind you, the colour of the house annoys me.

Edit- Change of mind; although there are some nice details inside, the house is ugly as hell. Definitely needed more planning. A life-size replica of a nice French-Provincial style mansion like this would be nice, though:

I still have my pirate ship...although sadly it isn't assembled since many of the pieces went missing over the years. :( I still have my Space Police stuff too! I've got plenty of Bionicle and a ton of building bricks as well. Man, my brother and I built some pretty sweet stuff over the years. The Star Wars stuff (and some of the Bionicle collection) is soon going to hit eBay as I never cared for Star Wars that much and they were originally my brother's kits, until he gave them to me. I've got a Snowspeeder, an X-Wing and Anakin's podracer thing (whatever it's called) if anyone's interested. :D

I was always into the Technical Lego. My favourite will always be the Car Chassis from the 80's. The best one they ever did. Remember once trying to build it without the instructions. Didnt get far!

Just broken up from my girlfriend (see my own thread elsewhere in this forum).
So I am going to try and dig out my old Lego sets from my parent's house to help me keep my mind off it for a while.
Ages since ive done them.

Oh oh oh, it's time to pick up my childhood hobby again!!

I still have so much Lego Technic, it's all complete with the books, I really should put it back together.

I. AM. SO. JELLY.

I haven't bought a kit for about 10 years. The last on I had was Technics excavator with pneumatic pistons for the arm.

I would rip them apart after building the intended model and go about building amazingly useful machines like the anti-kitty trebuchet which had a trip wire and fired Lego tyres at my kitten to stop him pestering me when I was sleeping.

The kits I see now days are the same price as what I paid for my bike!

I've also got the Technic supercar, haven't built mine yet either. Waiting for the cold winter nights to do that one! I was nuts about Lego as a kid and have hundreds of sets.

I really must resist going to the toystore, but all those new models, and their functions all screaming my name!

Hmm, I wonder if I can still build the 6980 without the instructions.. it's been about 20 years!

Hey, Lego fans. Just came across this thread. There was a display of Lego towns, cities and landmarks on near my office earlier in the year.

This weekend there just happens to be two major LEGO fan exhibitions going on in Swindon UK and Seattle WA.

Here's a photo (not mine) of a small boat from the Swindon show last year.

I own this model (not my picture) and it has to be one of my favourite lego models ever all the pneumatics in it are amazing and all fully working to lift & tip both the front bucket and fully move around the rear arm and stability legs :D It even had a fully moving differential, 3 cylinder engine and steering via the front wheels

And this was one of the best RC cars I ever owned although the front splitter has a habit of breaking whenever it clips anything  many super glue repairs used there
