I'm going to try to, but they are incredibly streamlined, so it will be incredibly difficult trying to recreate the fibreglass fearing with Lego.

Buildings in Belle Epoque style, artwork with 30 000 pieces.

One of the buildings it's based on:

I picked up a Sydney Opera House on Saturday. Pics to come when I get home from work to show the builds progress.

That last car could have used different pieces for the rear, a 2 by 2 tile piece instead of a 1 by four tile piece to achieve a smoother look * i don't know if they have those said pieces in that color . Man I wish i still enjoyed building. I would go to yard sales and buy legos in bulk for like 5 dollars. Even semi new sets. I refuse to buy new sets because they are skimming out on pieces and cost way to much..

Just when I thought I was getting too old for LEGO, I came across this thread! You guys are awesome!

That guy deserves a cookie the size of Jupiter. I nearly died when I saw those cars.

I love the Lego creator houses, so much detail in old skool style but they are a bit on the small side.

I really need to do an inventory on my Lego, got over 20 years worth!

My local toy store has the Lego departement on the way to the games section. Every time I walk passed it I drool over all the new Technics Lego. And then I quickly walk on because now I can buy it all and that will not work well with my girl.

You beat me to posting about that car 1600. I just got home from a christmas party and was going to put the video up here. Can you imagine the mess if they crashed it.

I've got a Lego Technic Droid from way back in 2002. It came with interchangeable shoulder plates for Infantry, Security and Commander ranks :) Plus it could pull out a blaster from its own back!

Some of this work makes me feel bad I struggled to put the Lego Star Wars Star Destroyer together

In my defence, I was like 11 and not very good with Lego. Better now... May post a few things I've found

Honestly, I didn't really keep track of the time as I was doing it in bits and pieces over the past couple of days but at a guess I'd say it took me around 5 or so hours. 👍

Yeah, right...
:)
My wife is VW crazy. She has a 78 westy, 75 or 74 thing, 72 beetle and an 02 beetle all in pretty nice to great condition. I on the other hand am not a big fan of them :) if I picked one the bus would be my favorite but just because they're so unique. I'm way to big for beetles and the thing. My legs are just way to long to drive them. Then we went and moved the seats up even farther for her because she's barely 5 foot talk and it made it even worse for me.
