I think I have the best chance to win this coming week. My car is just light and agile enough to get away with running the FR lines through the 2nd sector which is where I should hopefully pull away from the more powerful cars. The uphill stretch is worrisome though. Hopefully everyone practices and understands their cars brake point. Rampant under/over steer awaits those who dont. Enjoy!
 
i'll be at the next race, i got home 10 minutes late for yesterday :(

If I were to be allowed to compete, I don't expect to receive any credits to start out with. At the very most, only an amount equal to the driver with the lowest amount of accumulated credits.

I just want to RACE
 
dont be silly...you wouldn't be competitive at all, since we're all well above 375pp by now (or will be for next race). Take it from me, it's hard enough to find a car.. don't handicap yourself any more.

Sorry I had t responded to your PM before now.

At this point, I don't want to let others in. We are three races in, and the points are close. I don't want anyone to complain about a spoiler taking points when they are too far behind to be in the point race.

For that matter, I am tempted to enforce the OLR and drop anyone that misses more than two races.

Having said that, please follow and join next season. We run two nights so we have the room for 16 drivers (in theory). Also, I suggest checking out the 450 Club (someone link thread please). A lot of us race there, and the racing is usually clean.

If you had your car shared, you can unshare them. I crashed last night and didn't look at them until this evening. There are some that weren't, but so far, things seem far, so I won't panic (since mileage doesn't get accurately reported, it is rather easy to game the system :(, just another place PD failed on "real racing simulator").

There are some that aren't reporting parts (Cujo). Please, check the standings spreadsheet. If it isn't accurate, let me know.

I'm definitely in for next race and all the others! I really didn't want to miss this last one..was seriously looking forward to it.

I braked so early the first bit, and went so wide in all the turns. I was so terrified of causing an accident. And in that picture, I should've been turning in, but I didn't know exactly where BTK was.

I'm still bummed out that painting my car painted the greenhouse, too.
 
I just wish this game had a fast forward or rewind for replays. I missed a few shots (three wide down the front straight...) and couldn't rewind. Also, some great action happens late in the race, but I don't feel like waiting for an hour... :(

Also, "Goes for gold" and "Drafting" are maybe my two favorite photos I've done in this game.

Hey now! I'll do the pictures, you stick to video... :grumpy:

Just kidding, obviously. I'd love to post video, but I need a better capture device than a flip camera. I'd need to put my headphones (turtle beach) on the camera to get the audio.

My setup is weird (PS3 attached to PC monitor w/ HDMI, audio out to headphones only, cheap-*ss folding table with my G27 clamped to it, cheap metal folding chair with *extra* pillows), but nicely functional. :dopey:
 
Running 1:40.3 in lounge testing.

Anybody else have numbers?
 
I'll post up some lap times in a bit..gonna go do a bit more testing. I think that was about right, tho...

I cant decide on new parts for this coming week! :P
 
I think a few drivers should be under 1:40. I haven't done any driving yet. With my 10k, I could easily just drop the titanium exhaust on, but i want to mess with some other stuff first.
 
Ran consistently in the 1.41s this evening, best was a 1'41.008.. still haven't added parts, yet.

I'm in the 1:42s, too. I was in the room with someone else and they posted a 1:41.5. My car would be 1.5s faster at the first split. I would be down to 0.7 seconds faster at the second and third splits, and then more than 0.5s down by the end of the lap. :(
 
I'll install upgrades tomorrow, and give a lap time for you all.
 
Ran 1 lap for yah first lap (keep in mind tires were cold) was 1:40.5xx
 
Should be a tight race this week! Seems we're all pretty evenly matched now..

Thats my best sector. The final hairpin in the esses before and after the front straight is where i have trouble.
