Watching Schumacher, I don't feel so bad.
On the first chicane, he puts all four tires on the red and whites on the right hander. He has an F1 car, so he avoids the speed bump on the left hander and keeps two wheels on the black.
On the second chicane, he puts all four on the red and whites. He stays off the blue.
He keeps two tires on the black during the first left hander in the esses and all four tires on the black through the rest of the esses.
The two parts that I find myself cutting a little and am trying not to (but feel less bad about after watching Schumacher) is the left hander into the second chicane and the left hander leaving the esses. But, I stay on the red and whites, so I don't feel so bad.
When I log in on Tuesday, after I practice a bit, I'll probably park my car on the blue square in the second chicane. If you hit me, then that would've been a 2 point penalty in the race.
Now, what happens if you mess up the corner and accidentally cut things? I recommend you stop and then go. Basically, if you penalize yourself to keep your lap time on par with your others, and you don't gain a position, and you don't do it too often, then we won't penalize you.
