I'd love a 206, I've been refreshing the used dealership trying to get something (anything) FF and in the range.

If you want anything for trade, please let me know.

I can't think of anything. I know someone in the thread is looking an MGF.

I won't be back home until later on Sunday. I'll send you the 206 as soon as I get a chance.

I pushed the car selection back to Tuesday. I don't really need the information today. It won't do me any good.

But please, send me a PM with your car selection!

And send me a friend request! The race will be in my private lobby. You will need to be friends with me to see my lobby and you will need to be friends with me to share your car after the race for inspection!

@agarris--It was 378PP. I will send it back after deadline tonight.

That is weird. I thought I double checked. I thought my '73 was at 374 PP. I know my '70 was at 378 PP. Blah... I guess it is possible that I got them backwards. Terribly sorry. I'll check again.

Man, looking at the sign-ups you've stolen my tuesday night crowd! Mind if join in on Tuesday nights so I don't miss the action? Has anyone chosen the '86 MR2 yet? It was my 2nd choice for the Wednesday series but after I saw two signups with it (both of which were no-shows) I picked the 280z instead.

Honestly, I haven't gotten any private car submissions, yet. The only two cars that I'm sure of are the ones that were made public in the thread and are in the first post.

I'd love to have you, but I don't know if anyone is looking at the MR2.

I might be interested in getting in on this also. If I do I'll be in whatever AE86 I find in the UCD (Levin/Trueno).

I'm thinking Nissan 1800sss or Lexus is 98 if I can find high mileage, if not I've got an old skyline that will work or a gto Mr

Woots, more peoples.

I'll be online tonight for some testing. Everyone is welcome to join me.

Please, send me car details by tomorrow, though. I have confirmed details from three drivers.

Please add me to the list. I will post my car tonight. Who should I friend request as host?

Oh, i noticed you adding colors to the OP. My MR2 is a hideous 2-tone with green and gold.

Which MR2? There is a 1600 G and 1600 G-Limited Super Charger. I'm guessing the later.

And duh, he sent it to me in a PM. I'm so dense.

Nissan Silvia Q's S13 '91

I will be testing in a few minutes and then I'll post up my ride

Including me, there are currently 13 drivers enrolled. I have details for 7 cars.

If you want to sign up, do so soon. And get me your car details before the race.

Again, friend me: a_garris. The race will be in a private lounge, but after the race, you'll need to share your car.

I'm still interested but, hadnt had much time to figure out what car Ill be driving. Unfortunately, I won't be in attendance for tonight's race. I'm going to a phillies game. They're playing the red sox. Is there anyway I can choose my car throughout the week when I get the time? Ill be adding you to my friends list shortly a_garris. Im gonna look at my garage briefly before I head into work

There are 14 drivers signed up now. I know two of you won't be able to make it to tonight's race, so I expect 12 drivers on the track tonight.

At this point, however, I am missing 6 cars. Please, submit your car details today, even if you can't make the race tonight. I need to know what the car is, and if you had to install any parts, what they were.

Tonight will be 60 laps at Grand Valley East - Reverse. I was in a room with a couple others last night practicing. These cars are so small, I think most of the field will probably do just one pit stop. Some drivers may go the entire 60 without pitting.

My Talon eats the front tires and I'm still not the best driver, so I'll probably plan on two pit stops (if I can keep it out of the wall, which I did for 20some laps last night). My best lap was very close to what they were putting down. It was within 1.5 seconds, so that was exciting. It is possible, if I don't wreck, that I might not be lapped tonight. Woot.

If you do lap me, as in the preseason race, I'll be giving drafting rides down the front straight. I'll turn in late for turn 1 to let you pass me.

He garris, did the replay I sent you help?

I couldn't get it to install. :(

But, I think the turn-in-earlier advice helped a lot. If I had another day, I think I would actually play around with moving the brake bias to the rear in the hopes of getting the car to rotate a little better.

I feel pretty quick through the first sector. When I had the Impreza on this course, I was usually up on polesitter's lap time in that sector in qualifying. I'm slower in this car, but this is the sector when I lose the least amount of time.

The second sector is when I lose so much time. And it all comes down to the right-hand hairpin. If I miss it, which I usually do, then I'm not lined up for the hard left-hander after it. When I miss that left-hander, that means I'm slower to get on the throttle and I lose a lot of time up the hill.

I don't lose too much on the third sector. In fact, if I get the second sector well, I make up time in the third sector (taking advantage of my car's 157 HP).

When I did wreck last night, I wound up with three or four wrecks in four or five laps. As I recall, all of them were getting a tire or two in the grass, then having my car shoot across the track to the wall on the opposite side. :(

Yeah, the hairpin can be tricky. Use the curbing to gauge your braking point. You should be on the brakes when the curb on the left gets wider. I typically don't put a tire over the inside because it will pick up dirt and make you run wide on following left hand turn. However its ok to put a tire in the dirt on the left hander because you don't need the tires on that side of the car for a while so any dirt they pick up will scrub off.

Going to be fun tonight. I haven't put very many laps in the MR2 but I know it is quick down the straight. I will likely get loose in turn 2 as my rear tires wear down but I'll just have to make back time elsewhere.

What's a good lap time around GVE-R for these cars? I need to get any idea of where I'm at.
