There are currently 210,848 registered users on Gtplanet, if we give out a dollar each, we can buy a 200k car for GTP.

I know it's far fetched but can be possible maybe? :D

And then get GTP logos all over it. I WANT A MUSTANG AND BUILD THE HELL OUT OF IT

The problem is everyone in the Cars in General forum would take the money and spend it on Mazda MX-5 NAs. Naturally.

 That is inevitable.

I don't think everyone will ever agree on one car on this forum, ever.

Make your own car. With the money.

We can obtain 4 dollars and 80 cents from each member and earn approx. a million dollars :p

It would be cool to have a GTP race car, and I'd certainly consider it if I get into racing ;)

Everyone donates $100 and we start a GTP LMP1 program.

+1
And I'll be the owner because I'm awesome.

Oh i know it, let's all donate 1$ each
And buy a GT-R, since is so related with Gran turismo :D

And I'm super fast & super safe, so I can drive........ oh yeah, the rules. Yeah, I'm not good with the rules..... if you are not cheating, you are not trying.

It has to be a Honda Civic. You know, new drivers and all.

I say we build a Formula 1 team. :D

^ For 500k we can buy that lotus track car.

Considering that only a fraction of those members are still active, and even fewer venture into the Rumble Strip, I don't think this'd work out very well.

Of course, if we got just 30,000 members to donate a fiver each, we could buy an older GT-R :D

Karts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Karts, many, many karts. Karts as far as the eye can see. So many karts, we could fill the Nordschliefe many time.

No, this wouldn't work for one reason. If you look through the users, about 3/5's of them haven't made a single post in their time or their latest activity was almost half a decade ago. So it wouldn't do much.

With 210,848 shareholders.. er, owners, the wait to drive it will be impossibly long and unfair.

$5 x 30,000 = $150,000

That is a new GT-R. And then a lot of other stuff.

Really, we should just have a bunch of E36 M3's bought up and have a GTP M3 Spec race. Driver's could be picked from the OLR stuff.

Hmmm, how about we use some of the extra money to put a gtplanet livery on the car (Black and White with red and blue stripes and the gtplanet logo on the hood and side). Then, with all of the money left over after that, we buy a small tent with a gtplanet logo on it, some tables/chairs/pamphlets, and a roof rack. Then, we tour the country, going to races that are relevant to Gran Turismo as we promote gtplanet. Races like the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Leman, (With Lucas Ordonez). We could also attend Grand Am races with Bryan Hiekotter. That we be excellent, only now I think I've over done the budget there with that. :)

See, I would argue endless on not getting a GT-R. Absolutely hate that car.

Yes, but realistically, what is a better bang for your buck?

A GT-R can't be 2nd hand?

2nd hand C6 ZO6 > 2nd hand GT-R

Really doesn't matter, because the GT-R is a soulless computer car that is worshiped by kids that played too much Gran Turismo growing up.
