Actually, I knew from the beginning of the season Lewis was able to become the champion, everyone said "In the longrun...", well, where does that longrun start? Lewis is doing a formidable job in F1, I definitly wouldn't be surprised if he becomes the champion earlier...

Yes, but it's a bit early to write a 288 page about his all-conquering first season in F1!

If Alonso wins, will much of that have to be re-written?

We must ensure it happens.

No, I think there will added only 1 sentence to the book:

"Of course, this would be the outcome if Alonso retired in Japan"

Oh man, this sucks... I kinda hoped Raikkonen would surprise everyone at the last race.

This has got to be some sick joke. What in the world are they thinking? Its always Lewis this and Lewis that, when will it ever stop? He's just a rookie (a good one at that) but don't count too much on it.Still have a few races left before the end of the season.Well now i've seen everything.....

Lewis Hamilton: King of the World?

So if he wins his first season, he'll suddenly become the best F1 driver ever?
Jeez, this book makes it sound like Hamilton did something Gilles or Hill never did.

EDIT*
It was an outcome no one seriously could have predicted: not only did he have to combat his own nerves and fears;
The irony.

Well, this spoilt the entire 2007 season for me ...

As much as I'm not a 'Nando fan, I'll be rooting for him (and everyone else) just to make the biography redundant before it's even released.

I vote Leonardo di Caprio to play Lewis Hamilton in the biopic that is sure to follow ...

My thoughts exactly. Now Hamilton has to lose it.

I vote for Martin Scorsese to make yet another wonderfully boring biopic with said actor.

Well it was either that or have Christian Bale in the title role. Throw in a few reverse timelines and Christopher Nolan could direct.

Well, I cannot see why they said he won the title, since there is till 5 races left, and Alonso is only 8 points behind! Mind you I still want Hamilton to win, not idiot Alonso! I call Alonso an idiot for what he did to Hamilton in the pits during qualifying, were he delayed Hamiltons pitstop to deney him a shot at pole position

Welcome to GTP.

Be sure not to voice personal opinions acting just out on whims and make sure you don't insult other people as long as you're completely certain of all the events and factors that take place before it. Hamilton won that race, did he not. Hamilton got pole position for that race, did he not?

There's about 5 pages worth of that discussion in other threads. I would suggest you go there and voice your opinion.

The book is a work of fiction so far, since the season isn't over... that's the whole irony of the book!

Well why don't you cry about it? You'll feel much better. Hamilton won that race, did he not? Hamilton got pole position for that race, did he not?
