I took this thing on the Nurn GP and I swear I could do better with a personal jet pack attached to a shopping cart around the corners.

the viper engine is twice the size and ohv im pretty sure making it not as good, the audi v10 is the same one from the gallardo so yeah. and its a poor engine as well, barely makes 350 lbft stock and revs to like 8k rpms. what a hunk of crap.

I didn't say any of these engines were crap, I was just stating a fact. And horsepower-per-liter arguments belong buried in Honda Civic forums circa 2000 AD.

I bought two. One for the matte black and one for the passionate pink. I also bought them for the sound and the tachometer is awesome!

I love this car, it probably has the best tachometer I've seen IMO:D

It's a handful on Sports-hards but the same with any other car with 500+hp.

And that engine sound, it's pretty spot-on (a rare feat for PD:lol:)

= "I can't drive a car unless it's glued to the track" :)

The LFA in stock form is a perfectly fine car for it's performance class.

I feel like grandma trying to slow that thing down WAY ahead of time to make turns. In stock for it sucks the fun outta driving for sure unless you can actually predict the unpredictable oversteer, which is impossible because , did I mention, it's unpredictable ;) That's of course if it doesn't unpredictably turns to understeer in the next turn.

Typical pic of me in the LFA

Got two of em, bought one and them got gifted the other. Not such a bad car if you take the time to set it up and as has been mentioned previously, THE SOUND IS SICK! :)

Yea I bought mine in lime green lol at least I got something out of it.

I got "matt black." Which is separate shade than "matte black" (a bit lighter, more of a charcoal gray). I like the car, but am a bit... underwhelmed by it. The gauges are definitely nice but some of that color changing is a bit distracting... white, green, orange/white, full orange. Would have preferred they do green/yellow/red or white/yellow/red maybe.

It's a good car on a flat curcuit, but it has no downforce (that raising rear spoiler hardly helps) so it's a handful on bumpy tracks.

I totally agree with you. Without any altitude change this car's defects won't be shown.
I'm just quite unhappy with the fact that no aerodynamic parts could be added on this car, even if it's premium.

I decided to buy the LFA just for the hell of it. Man that car stinks. I didn't do any upgraded. What's so hot about that car? I'm sure if I threw some Sports Soft or Racing tires on it I would like it better but if it comes with Sports Hard then I'd like to see what it does in stock form. Nothing to write home about.

The fact you can buy it in matt black or passionate pink, makes it a win!

Not all cars accelerate/handle like a dream car to be good or desired or loved. I might be one of the few who loves cars despite their ups and downs.
Ferrari Enzo is an example where the price of the car is higher and handles worse than the LFA yet people still praise it.

Wait that you see the GT version of it, it's just beautiful. I happened to saw a video of the GT version of the car (I can't remember if it was super gt or LMS but I think it's a LMS version) and it's just crazy. Rev were limited to 7500 rpm tho. But the sound, oh god.

The LFA is the most fun stock car I've driven on the Nordschleife so far and it sounds great too. This car is about driving pleasure rather than performance figures.

yeah lfa is a great car but in my mind its noy worth how much it cost in the game but all in all its great

In game?? That's what it costs irl.

Production costs are like that of the Veyron. It was not built to make Toyota money, it was made strictly to show that Toyota could build it. Each car is hand built and no 2 cars are alike in hp/torque. What we see here in game is just an average in regards to hp/torque.

It is a marvelous car and I can't wait to own one in game and pray to see one up close irl.

The car is more like a tech demo than an actual product. The idea is more to show they can do a car like that, and I think some of the production method used in making the LFA can trickle down to regular Toyota/Lexus product...just look at that crazy textile loom that Toyota used to make the structural A-pillars of the car...19th century technology for 21st century supercar, only a company like Toyota with the background in textile industry can come out with something like that.

The LFA in GT5 drives the same way you expect a car of it's performance to drive, even the GT-R would be a handful for most trying trying to max high downforce turns, and whoever said the LFA is up to 599XX standards better think again. I've seen both on tack and experienced both cars except driving them (check out my sig) and I can tell you the 599XX and the FXX are both in a league of their own, however, the LFA is still a pretty amazing cars.

You kids can go ahead and mod them to take away the true spirit of driving from some of the amazing cars in this game.

Its more of a tech car than a performance one.
Excuse after excuse what a load of bollocks in real life it should perform pretty damn good. Than someone like you comes in and says "Oh no its not that kind of a car" what the hell is a tech car? The worked about 7 years on this car it should drive fine ingame.

I have no idea what most of you are on about. I get this thing in the low 7:20s on The Ring and I know teens are possible. It is incredibly fast on high speed tracks. It is also very well mannered on corner entry and mid corner. Only on exit can it get a little hairy. If you keep the revs up it feels faster than its horsepower would allude to. Also the sound is probably one of the best and most accurate in the game, which is a pretty big deal for GT.

If you watch the Fifth Gear review, Tiff states that it is a very razor edge type of car. Which is exactly how it is in the game. It is the type of car I do not care standing next to, only sitting in.

This ^.

On SS tires, a stock LFA pulls a faster lap time on the ARM (which is all about handling) than the 599 (which has a better P/W ratio)... and it's about equal with the IS F Racing Concept ‘08.

I think it's funny the number of people who "... if they had the money wouldn't buy it...".

Come on, really.

If I had the money I would and all the while smiling ear to ear.

Based off this game I would not buy this car. I would test drive it in real life to see how it actually handles but I wouldn't drop a dime on the GT5 version of it.

Haha, of course you would test drive it. Would you seriously buy a car based on a video game?

The LF-A IMO is the best looking car ever made. It looks like it came out from a Japanese cartoon!
The LF-A sounds like this cause when Lexus and Yamaha finished with the engine, they've send it to the Yamaha instrument department for sound tuning/adjustment.
The V10 is lighter than a V6, and in general this car is amazing, the gizmos and the high tech in it is just from another planet.
0to9000rpm in neutral 0.6 seconds
Even though it costs 350.000 lexus isnt making any profit of it..... and cause it is a Lexus the build quality is.......lets say there is no chance to burst on flames cause a glue.....
