I finally got to the last license test S-8. The best time I got was 4 secs longer than the bronze time. I dont remember the S License in GT2 being that hard.
You don't need to use a manual. In fact, I think that would end up just confusing most drivers.
The key is to use the analog sticks, I doubt very much that it can be done using the buttons. A constant rhythm of brake and accelerator is required, never really putting your foot to the floor on either. Also, try coasting around a corner as apposed to sliding, ie not using any brake but keeping a constant speed by pressing the accelerator stick forward slightly.
I agree, it is very hard but persevere and I'm sure you'll get through.
I beat s-8 with an auto tranny. it only took me about ten minutes. the secret to the s license is racing the gt allstar race in the pro league. race every race then go try the s license and it will be cake.
infallible, I wish it was a cake for me. The S8 took me allmost 3hr to pass it. I use auto trany. You just have to make the turns as fast as you can with out spining the tires.
Well i've been racing tonz, i mean tonz, and just now tried for the special. yeah i found on the s8 well really with all of them that pumping the gas, if your car spins easy, and pumping the brake seem to work very very good.
so there's another bit for ya. always drift, you beat this liscience by drifting

I did the same thing but i kept it in 3rd 4 all the slow corners. At the top of the hill, hug the wall u will save time doing that and not to mention speed and u'll be able to brake easier going into the next turn.
