Has anyone an idea if there is some link between GTC and GT4? Like the new cars in GTC that wheren't in GT3? if all thenew cars from GTC are in GT4, we would know a lot more about the final car list.

Several of the GTC cars are in GT4, such as the NSX-R LM, RX8 LM ect and then theres the Auidi RS6. The biggest link between GTC and GT4 theough is the car models themselves, if anyone noticed, the car models in GTC were better quality than the ones in GT3, GTC used an new program to create the models which was faster and provided better results, the same program is being used to make the cars in GT4, the only difference is the reflection mapping which in GTC was the same as GT3 although it look real time, it wasn't it had certain shadows that appeared in real time but the relfection mapping it'self wasn't, in GT4 it is 100% real time.

So, that was it, huh? I was hoping there was more than just that one track. Well, I hope it makes into GT4, along with all the short courses from GT2.

Autumn Ring was worth it though, imo, with the revised handling. It makes a fantastic track given the GTC treatment 👍

Yeah I do, I'm sure it wasn't GTC though, I thought it was an earley build of GT4's engine.

Yeah, i'm pretty sure you're right. The engine did look much improved and the tach's were different. But the title screen was the GTC one.

Polyphony Digital is hard at work on a simplified, training version of Gran Turismo that will be used to teach first-time drivers how to drive, according to online gaming site Games Are Fun. What exactly "simplified" means is unclear, but since the game will be used with beginner drivers, expect very little in the ways of customization, and more emphasis on driving physics and environment interaction.

The game is being worked on in conjunction with automobile maker Volkswagen, and will utilize the still-in-development Gran Tursimo 4 engine. The still untitled game will not be for sale in retail stores, so unless you plan on getting another driver's license, chances of playing the game may be slim.

There was nothing like that in GTC, there was a Toyota POD challenge game, which was really fun.

He doesn't mean GTC, he means the GT Lupo challenge which was a seperate game, all it was, was VW Lupo cup cars racing on the Tuskuba track.
