Yep pretty much a GT8 cover car - like the Mazda RX Vision

It's interesting that they decided to release it under Toyota than Lexus tho - especially the race car
The new Lexus LF-A will be an EV unfortunately so putting out a V8 race car would seem odd.

I so wish the new Lexus was an ICE car.

I didnt meant Lexus LF-A as race car but the new GT3 car under Lexus brand - prototype still used RC F GT3 engine

I think they're trying to push "GR" as the brand rather than Toyota or Lexus.

It's just all the press are ignoring that and calling it a Toyota anyway.

Don't the race cars have to run a production engine configuration though?
Not just that, the road car and the race car has to be the same make. This was something pointed out in the Cars in General thread about it:
So do we think this Sport Concept is an EV? It looks VERY different from the Toyota cars that have been testing, including the GT3 car, which is certainly not based on this Sport Concept due to homologation rules, which means either Lexus has two cars on the way or the GT3 is switching over to Toyota.

About the Ferrari 296 GT3 - quality is amazing , especially those custom parts including Evo parts which i wasnt expecting

theres also a FIA WEC LED screen option on sides but unfortunately it is not functional hopefully in the future it will work

I would have liked that Porsche 992 Cup Car but i will take the GT3.R too

Just some news about the TCR world.

So, here we have Geely getting onboard to push its name in racing. We’ve got Volvo and now Polestar in the game. Maybe with Hyundai-Genesis and Xiaomi collaborating with PD, Geely might be thinking of how else to spread knowledge of the brand across the globe.
This is the Geely Preface/Xingrui road car being unveiled in the UAE.

Seems like a lot is going on with brands utilising Gran Turismo’s reach with consumers. I could see the brand being added to the game. Debuting its latest race car in GT7 makes sense marketing wise. Especially the way Hyundai are ramping up their presence in the game.

Cool but what about that Lotus :dopey:

After reading that Abu Dhabi interview I guess expect more GT3 cars when it comes to race cars. GT4 will continue to take a back seat.

I am still beyond confused how Manufacturers Exhibition uses both GR.4 and GR.3 but the World Series races solely use GR.3. Hell, the Finale used nothing but the GR.3 cars.

Toyota officially replacing the GR010 with this, the TR010:

The branding is a mess right now. This is no longer a GR, but the rally car is a GR and no longer a Toyota, and the GT3 car is a GR but the road GR trims are Toyotas... If I'm PD I'm pushing to ignore that and just keep the whole thing as Toyota in-game.

Would explain why the Rally car is not entirely Red & White, but this car is (and the livery is VERY 1998 looking).
