Am i the only one that have thiiis much difficilties to do all the turns without hitting the wall :/??

I don't know how much difficulty "thiiis" much is. Can you give us a little more information? Is this any track, in any car, or just specific tracks or cars? Do you use a controller or wheel? Give us the answers to those questions and we can try to help you out.

i am sorry i speak french so maybe its hard to understand what i say but i use a skyline gtr with 460hp, and i have a loooooot of difficulty to turn rough turns, even when im braking or just realasing the gaz... in all circuits

So far your English is good enough, much better than my French.

I think when you said rough turns you meant tight turns. The GT-R is 4WD and it can have understeer, where the front tires loose grip and you go wide in the corner. There are some things you can do with suspension tuning, but if you don't want to do that then the best advice I can give you is to brake harder or brake earlier. Use the 4WD and power to pull the car out of the corner. For a 4WD car with a lot of power I like to use "slow in, fast out" approach to corner.

If you are using the Racing Line, it might be slightly off, but usually it is pretty conservative and should have you going slow enough for a corner. If you haven't been using the Racing Line, give it a try, but you shouldn't rely on it, eventually you will be faster than it and it will slow you down. See if you can get around a tight corner a few times with it on, then turn it off and do it on your own.

Let me know if you have any more questions or if you want that translated.

I should be online tomorrow around 1500 (3PM) Pacific Standard Time (I think that would be 1800 or 6PM in Quebec) and if you want to join me in my lounge just send a friend request to GTP_Im_Sorry and we can play follow-the-leader, where you follow me and match my speed to see if that helps you get through the corners better.

Basically its what NjLowrider said, only I used about 500X more words.

your explanation are awesome bro thanks a loot ill try to slow way more and will stop using handbrake :) illl add you and if you wanna do follow the leader that would be awessome :D thanks a lot again :)

on a 4WD Skyline you want to loosen up the front end to help turn in, this means when you go to suspension settings, set the front end a couple bars to the left on all items e.g dampers springs etc

So skyline are very hard to control?

Depends on your driving style. Some guys like a car that is loose in the rear, prone to oversteering. The Skyline is more prone to understeer. The 4WD makes it lot easier to control on acceleration.

What tires are you using?

Im using sports ; hard .. and i dont know how to set my gears rate ... do you know how ?

Go into the settings page which should be in your garage where you select your car. You may need to go to the parts shop to buy a fully customisable transmission first off. And once you get into that it is simple enough.

You can also buy grippier tyres in the parts shop as well.

At most this will probably cost you no more then 65,000 Credits.

Try and avoid going to the racing tyres model if possible. Racing tyres will give you a false sense of security when going in to corners due to their grippy-ness :) Go with sports soft as a maximum with your car preferably 👍

Once you learn how to corner better with the SS tyres, then step up to racing s :)

Try the torque sensing controller. You can put the rear to 80 so that it launches like a 4WD but it corners like an FR.

So what can of tire i should use ?

I agree with Rumblina, Sports softs would be a good choice to drive on. But most GTP series use Racing Hard. So if your interested in joining a series you may want to do a few laps on both. Also I believe if ASM (Active Stability Management) is on it can also create understeer because it stops the car even slightly over steering. So you may want to try turning that off as well.

Hi mate.
I personally think that doing the licenses and improving your times in each of them is a good thing.
You get to try a variety of cars and corners/tracks.
You get to learn the differences between each type of car and how they prefer to be driven.
You also win some pretty good cars when you get better at them.:)
Cheers mate.:)👍

The torque controller is in the "drive line" section of the parts shop :)

As above, the licenses are a great start. There is a few particular ones that are aimed at slow in-fast out cornering which appears to be what you need :)

As asked earlier, are you using the DS3 or a wheel? Different settings in the options will help or not help depending on what you use :)

Do your licences.

If you're hitting the walls, you trying to turn with too much speed. That's the only reason why.

to answer one of your previous questions....

No Skyline is not hard to control it is very easy to control and very stable that is the beauty of 4WD.

FF is very stable at low speeds and easy to control however at high speeds it becomes very skittery.

FR and MR are very twitchy.

Not the only reason...

ill try to slow way more and will stop using handbrake

That'll do it.

Handbrake is for parking. Or how to slow down very quickly in arcade games. It won't get you very far in Gran Turismo.

Bonjour! Je mappelle Jimmy! I think my French is horrible but the only way to learn is to practice. Here's some tips:

Use the outside when on a straight and then turn early to use the inside of a turn.
Look for the gear numbers on the speedo. They'll tell you if you are going to fast.
Use sports soft tires and aids to create a smoother turn.
Finally, use the driving line! If you can follow it and keep in the middle, you will succeed!

Hope this helps!

Thx guy for all the advice and your french is looking very good bro :)! Ill try to do your trick jimmy :)!
