LM Ultimate PC Game

I picked this up yesterday to give it a go since they have full VR support now. After about 2 hours of playtime, I really like this game. Didn't encounter too many bugs and the framerate was pretty good. I'm gonna play it for about another week to see if the season pass is worth the 60 dollars. I really want the extra tracks and GT3 cars.

what VR are you using?

As a console player keen to test what this'll be like when it comes our way, I'm afraid top-tier subscription to change livery sounds a bit of a turn-off unless I'm hearing that wrong. That kinda money will likely be needed to save up for this 'huge leap' next-gen Xbox and presumably its VR headset for Screamer by Milestone, and WRC by Nacon in 2027.

With AC Evo, PMR and Rennsport all coming our way this gen (this year?) with potential mod support in all three (finally, for us consoles players), unless the handling on LMU is untouchable, one of those will more likely be my main interest. KT's WEC game could be another option.

My main interest would be a track designer, whoever delivers that wins, hoping it's the game that has the best handling too. Can't help but think UE5 would be the best for giving us city tracks/layouts/endless custom options. Although I'd accept most major airports for unlimited track layouts, with a city in the background.

There’s an interview about the game on another site, so I won’t link to it, in which the devs confirmed the intention of a console release. Sadly it won’t be anytime soon, as they haven’t decided yet on a porting partner or whether to do it themselves.

Also confirmed no mod support (even on PC) due to the licence. There will be single player career/championship content though.

PS5 versions at least a year away
Oh, this is so sad!
That game looks exactly like "made for me"! :D But i refuse to start messing around with a gaming-pc.
I wish they'd bring this game for PS5 with PSVR2-support as soon as possible right now!

Let the PC guinea pigs continue their extended beta testing and we'll get the proper full experience when it's ready. I know the devs are calling this July update 1.0 but it doesn't really sound like a finished product.

There's now a nice steady pipeline of upcoming racers for console - Project Motor Racing and Nascar this year, AC Evo and Wreckfest 2 next year hopefully with this one as well.

My worry for PS VR2 support (other than the fact that no racing game dev other than PD has supported it so far) is that Motorsport Games' cash investment came from Pimax. They are a PC VR headset manufacturer - would they want to support a rival, rather than filter VR users toward the platform their own product works on?

I really want this game to make it to ps5 but I’m happy to wait for them to keep adding features over the next year or so beforehand. If/when the game makes it to console it will be one of the strongest sims on the market

I recently got a gaming laptop as a gift and was wondering if this game would be worth purchasing but don't know if it would run well in it, the laptop has a i5 11th gen, a 3050 4gb video card and 16gb of ram...if someone could tell me if that would be enough to run it I'd appreciate it. :)

It might run it on low settings. But you get LMU, you try it, then you return it if it doesn't. That's how it works.

I have a Meta 3 VR headset and tried this game in VR mode. It put me on top of the Toyota GR010 PD like roof cam. I couldn't change it and when I checked settings it was set to cockpit as a view.

I just picked this up last Friday and it did not disappoint. It's basically an improved rF2, which to me is a great thing.
AI in rF2 was already one of (if not) the best prior to LMU imo, but they managed to fix some of the rF2 bugs, especially in multiclass racing which is what WEC is all about, so I don't think it gets better than this for Single Player. The upcoming career mode should be a great addition as well.
FFB and physics like its predecessor are still great, graphics are an improvement and it's well optimized. Well worth the money imo.

picked this up after seeing that it was pretty nice to play with a controller. It's an absolute joy on my DS4. I haven't even changed any Deadzone/sensitivity settings either. I did a practice session at Le Mans in the Mustang LMGT3, It was a lot of fun pushing for a lap while also having to stay out of the way of the LMP2s and the Hypercars. I also gave the Caddy a quick go too at Sebring and It was as great as you would expect. After that I shut the game and bought all the DLC

Might be a rough experience. Though, as others pointed out, you can refund the game in Steam as long as you haven't played more than 2 hours
