Bright start by Murray. I think Murray just wants it more.

Murray wins first set 6-2!!

Federer made 11 enforced errors in that first set!!! not like him!!

Well done to Ben Ainslie!!!

.......xsnipx.......I made sure my entire family stopped what they were doing and together we watched his final race as a family. History in front of your eyes. What a career...

I do this, too. :)
While, as a family, we share many familiarities, my family is also wildly different from each other. A spontaneously unanimous decision doesn't come often; when it comes to the Olympics they aren't as sports-crazy as I am - but I grab them and make them watch when I think history is in the making so that we can relate when this information affects us together.
The 'blade runner's' first race for instance.. . .

What the 🤬 is this synchronised swimming rubbish. No offence it's probably really hard but you do look like a meerkat having a seizure.

We call it "Pool Prom." All painted up, matching outfits and dancing around to bad music.

We based this off of Horse Dressage (not the jumping or speed, just prancing around).... "Horse Prom."

Jesus Del Potro is a beast, his forehand is incredible!

Why cant Murray do this in a 'slam!?

All of my family are on holiday to get away from the Olympics. So much for bringing us together

Murray is dominating this

I've not seen Federer playing this poorly for a long time, talk about feeling the pressure of the crowd. Great for Murray though as he is playing really well, pulled some great shots out 👍

McEnroe absolutely gushing about Andy Murray, and for good reason. This crowd is going to explode!

I missed the first set, but Federer does not seem like himself. Murray is playing very well though. Deadly combo.

Unless Roger stops being knightly he's going to be pawned.

Never seen Murray play this well. :D

Three sets to win like a regular men's match correct?

Yes. The final is a standard 5 setter.

I type too slow. :banghead:

Best of 5 so yes.

Federer has won 1 of the last 11 games.

I just realised this is a 5 setter! I thought Murray would have this in the bag but we'll just have to find out on the 3rd set.

When Federer has to fight to prevent a Love set . . . this has to be a match to watch. Murray is moving like bloody lightning.

We have got a MASSIVE thunderstorm here in Wrexham!!, its upset the Sky picture a little! :grumpy:

The Badminton final is an absolute thriller at the moment, much better than the tennis.

Pommell horse final, featuring Louis Smith, over on BBC2 now!

Could be no doubt about that - played enough Badminton to realise that the game going on must be so fast everyone is on the edge of their seats. So much excitement all around the different events.
Tennis fans the world over though wouldn't miss seen Roger defeated. Doesn't happen often.

Not just defeated, demolished. 3-0 if Murray can keep his head...

Would be the biggest irony ever if he wins this and yet couldn't do it in a white shirt a month or so earlier!

Murray's on another break point. It may well be over!

Update: I might have jinxed him :D Federer played superbly to save break point.

MUSC4EVER
