Isn't this one of the harbingers of the apocalypse a Scotsman winning in a final at Wimbledon

Probably.

If J. Ennis shows up at your front door, might as well go for it, the world is ending you know.

Been a long time since a Brit brought it home this way.

Rumour is that the Hill will be renamed 'Murray Mound'. LOL.

Y'know what, i thought that after last night, that this would be a quiet day for team GB!! but we have won medals in the sailing and about to win more in the tennis and pommell horse!!

Yes Andy!!! Well deserved gold!!

Three straight magnificent aces... A golden moment.

Looking at the sky here, yep.

Simply SUPERB!!! well done Andy!!! Federer didn't do that much though!

Hopefully this will give him a much needed confidence boost to start winning grand slams! Hmm what sport to watch now...

One down...one to go!!!

Team GB also win silver and bronze in the pommell horse gymnastics!! ceremoney is on bbc2 now!!

Great win for Murray! Hopefully he can follow it up with a mixed doubles win. Just saw a great tweet too, it read "The BBC should cancel Sports Personality this year. Just have a big party and tell everyone they were terrific." I agree.

Murray sings the anthem!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I just noticed Del Po got bronze! Well done to him 👍

Excellent win by Murray. Go team GB!! 👍, not to take anything away from the win (best iv'e seen him play), but i can't but help the niggling feeling that the gent in Federer, kind of went easy on him... could be wrong.

Murray played two matches yesterday and another two today! hes going to be knackered tomorrow!!!

Correct, if the table was done by medals per person in that country we would be top.

Was thinking that myself, the medal per-capita thing (think that's the term). To think that we're giving America and China a butt kicking (in terms of per-capita), certainly is a great feeling... we should change it from Great Britain to Mighty Britain.

Andy would do this well all the time if they let a pack of drunk Englishmen into the slams to shout and clap. Excellent job.

2 hours until the big race that everyone here is waiting for. It's looking like a 1-2-3, but I have a feeling that Bolt will mess up the start, and Blake or even Powell might take the Gold. A new record is unlikely, though, as Bolt is supposedly injured. New Olympic record is definitely on the cards though.

Yeah I think Blake will take the Gold, Bolt in second and Powell in third. I don't think the record will fall though.
Also when is the 200m? And is Bolt running in that too?

Mixed doubles tennis final on now!

Excellant start for Muray/Robson!!! 3-0

Good thing he beat Federer quite quickly today! I can't help but laugh everytime I watch Azarenka play, she sounds like an owl

According to medalspercapita.com New Zealand would be winning.

Great to see fellow Lymintonian, Ben Ben Ainslie taking another Olympic gold. 👍 I had to leave the room at each mark, it was just too much for me. :nervous:
