One of our Australian commentators (Eddie Macquire) can't stop mentioning the London Riots, thinking that Britain wouldn't have been ready for the Olympics because of it. This is like the forth time I've heard it. He said it during the marathon too.

One of our Australian commentators (Eddie Macquire) can't stop mentioning the London Riots, thinking that Britain wouldn't have been ready for the Olympics because of it. This is like the forth time I've heard it. He said it during the marathon too.

It's probably just a bit of sour grapes and trolling. The Riots were ages ago and couldn't possibly have any affect on the Olympics.
