no cheese, or soup for that matter.

there's an american dairy farmer or someting series of commercials that feature people acting strange to get cheese and they say "behold the power of cheese."

Oh yeah I love those commercials. "Behold the power of Me" :thatsodd:

Mozawhatza? is that the stuff they put on Pizzas?
yeah that is the cheeze, I used to eat that with almost anything I ate. I even tried it with cereal when I was young :D

I like cheese. Feta is good.

We don't have the "Behold the moldy milk" commercials here. We have commercials that go by this:

Good cheese comes from happy cows. Happy cows come from California. California cheese. It's the cheese.

(The announcer stresses the word "the", so it sounds like:

It's tha cheese.

Quite fascinating. During those commercials, they show cows in various situations that relate to California. For example, in one commercial, a cow that was just transferred from somewhere in the East walks up to the native cows, saying "Oh, I love it here... No snow!". The native cows look at her like she's a psychopath, then she walks off and says "Ooookkaaayyyy...." The native cows say "What's snow?" I dunno, but she's been tipped one too many times..."

Then there's another one featuring a bunch of cows on a hill, eating grass. Then, there's a rumbling sound, and everything starts shaking [earthquake, obviously]. The cows are screaming "Wheeeee!". Then the camera focuses in on one cow that's having a ball, and when the quake suddenly stops, she goes "Oh. Darn." Another cow: "Yeah, those never last long enough..."

For those of you who have actually read all of what I just typed, I envy you. I wish I was witless enough to view a bunch of obtuse words and jargon. Now, for those of you cheese die-hards (like me), here's a website you might (or might not) like. I'll go away now.

Perhaps. Well, I think that a silly thread is nowhere near as bad as a demeaning one. I really do not see what the big issue is other than clutter. Though I understand deleting this thread. But the more restrictive the less inviting.
