Looking for a song?Music

Well i need help again :( Its a house/techno/dance song, its about 3min long, fairly short.

Hi!

Long time guest, first time member!

I've been looking for this parturicar song for a VERY long time, ever since I first heard it on my local modern rock station a couple of years ago and, quite frankly, it's been driving me nuts!! I don't know the name of the song or who sang it, but i want to know who sang it before i blow my brains out!!:scared:

The problem is, though, i forget how the song goes, but i do know the chorus. it goes something like this;

I can't wait/wait
for someone to reach me/I can't wait/wait
for someone to reach me/I can't wait/wait
for heaven to return/na na na na na (forget the rest of the lyrics)

Anyway, I've looked everywhere, looked at Best Buy, looked at the station's website and I could not find it anywhere. it may be THE song that I have ever heard in my entire life and I cannot find it for the friggin' life of me!!:scared::scared:

Any help is apericeried, thank you very much!!👍👍👍

Go there and try the "full text" search, I tried to search for the song itself, but you'll have much more of an idea of the song, good luck, I know what that feeling is like when you've been looking for ages, but can never find it.

Ok here is a challenge.

There is a song by Buckethead Called "The Android Of Notre Dame" from the album "Kaleidoscalp", and Its a great song, and I like it a lot. However There is a song that is exactly like it, only this ("The Android Of Notre Dame" ) version has some more guitars and effects layered over it. I'm looking for that original song (without the overlays and extra effects), Now the two songs like I said are nearly identical, only Kaleidoscalp's has a few more effects layered over it, But I cant seam to find any, and I mean any song that is 3:39 in length, or and within +/- 10 sec's that sounds like "The Android Of Notre Dame", SO i challenge you all to find this original song for me, or at least the title of it, I at one point had it, and I like the original a lot better than this new version. So if you can find it I will give you absolutely nothing.

I know that song, it is a Buckethead cover/tribute song to Dimebag Darrell, unfortunately I cannot get the name of the original. But it is for sure the tribute song to Dimebag Darrell.

This has been in Fifth Gear once and Top Gear a few times.

Fifth Gear - 10x13: 06:08 - 06:28
Top Gear (BBC Prime) - 01x08: 6:23 - 6:43
Top Gear (BBC Prime) - 01x09: 43:50 - 44:13

Wow, you're good. Thanks!

*edit*
Edited the original post removing that song link since it has copywrite material in it.

Can some one help me with the name of a song. Its a rock song and it says something like and "nicky started to cry". Thanks

I think this might be Foo Fighters - Darling Nikki which is the cover of a Prince song.

The lyrics are actually "and Nikki started to grind", but it does sound like cry.

Well it was a Prince song.

Anyway "The Good Ship Venus" or " Friggin' in the Riggin' " is a chantey or drinking song.

The Sex Pistols did a version, Anthrax covered that, and Loudon Wainwright III (yeah Rufus' father) did a version. I'm guessing you heard one of those versions. I've never heard it I just looked it up.

Alright, since I've failed searching after about 100,000,000 attempts over the past 3 years, I've decided to ask you well-educated chaps at GTPlanet for the name of my song search.

It was a popular dance track in 2001 (on Australian radio anyway), which has no actual lyrics... but just two Russians chatting to each other over a two-way radio at the end of the song (which lasts for about 15 seconds out of the 4 minute(ish) song).

That's about all the information I can give... 2001, Dance track (semi-electro), Russian Chatter. :scared:

I will give cookies to the person who knows it :sly:

... And a hug

PPK - Resurrection

Zomg!! 0_o... That's it Richard!

Thankyou very very much... (I sure have suffered a lot to get the name of that song, and here it took less then a day) 👍

*sends cookies* Cheers! :)

Edit:
wow glad i don't know the name of that song.

Haha, well... at least I got Turbo_Lag franticly searching for the name of the song :)

Erm, I posted the same song in another thread albeit a remixed version...but at the end of the song you can hear the Russian guys talking through the radio. Funny coincidence.

JCE
The last techno/trance/rave/electronica tune I listened to was PPK - ResuRection (Space Club Mix). It has to be one of the best techno tunes ever.

IMO the Space Club Remix is the best version.

Thanks for mentioning that JCE. The Space Club Remix is closer to what I was looking for (compared to the standard version). It isn’t the exact version I had in mind, though the version I heard all those years ago must have been a special radio edit of the Space club Remix. Still, I agree the remix sounds much better… cheers :)

Very obvious for a first one I just can't find the song:
Korn song where he says "back up, back up, back up i'll **** you up"

Then the song that is played on the recent PS3 commercials.
