Hard to believe the US lost the Elise a decade ago.

Are these new models the one Lotus is rumored to finally be returning to the US with?

I'm not a huge fan of the bonnet vents, but generally speaking, that is a very tidy looking car.

I can't see this being an Elise replacement. Way too heavy still. Although if this will be their last ICE car, then we will probably never see another Elise-like car again from Lotus (unless some magical battery tech breakthrough happens in the future).

The automotive-design-school-bottom-kink is the only thing that bothers me. I get the point of it, but I'm just so sick of seeing that move over and over again.

So what is Radford and why does Jenson Button feature so heavily?
Radford is developing a car based on the Lotus Exige and Button is helping to develop the chassis. The new Radford will be a hardcore road legal race car that will look like a Lola (probably a retro-styled Lola thing).
