...Because national pride, or because it's a good track?

Or both?

I'm asking because you both mention Interlagos, but forget Bathurst, Australia's Nürburgring.
I think both, also I always wanted to drive around Interlagos in a game like GT, I know GT never had Bathrust, but it been featured in many games, including Shift 2, I just wanted to try out something new.
But honestly, I'd prefer older GT tracks (Seattle, Apricot Hill, Red Rock Valley and you name it) over any real life circuit

They might tease us with a few hints like they did with the Vette, Spa, Route X etc.
I suspect some will have a close look at the in-game demos and also that missing tickets thread
I want the second SSRX layout

I reckon they will fix the new PP system, add the new NSX and Willow Springs. As well as the usual 'fixed issue X when Y happened in certain situations on layout X of track Y' :D

Both, because looks like an impossible dream to have a south american track in GT. And btw, I would pay the same for Bathurst. Love it too, epic track... One of the reasons why I bought Shift2.

This is what I have wanted since day one as the ability to use nearly every rim on every car in GT4 was one of my favorite things to do.

The black/silver mesh wheels from the Buick Grand National looked great on pretty much anything. 👍

Dont forget GT3, where you could change rims on every car, except the Formula cars

1. Remove 400pp compact car.
2. Fix 3000hp Civic glitch.
3. -I wish- Grid starts and first car not starting a minute ahead of you in every race.

Fixed :D (That one is my credit farm)

I hope for this one :)

You could say the same for the maserati wheels hypothetically. The point is the ridiculous low ammount of choice over previous GT.

I don't think it's anything special..probably just Bathurst and Silverstone..nothing major..:sly:

maybe they will include the two NSX concepts, maybe some tracks and other stuff that will be info released later.

With 3 days to go they would have announced something if anything were to happen.

It will simply be maintenance on the network and bug fixes for the game by the looks of it 👍

There is a ton of them I want to experiment with and realistically speaking, I could spend days mixing and matching.

Funny you bring that up because I really didn't start changing the wheels until GT4 came along. I can't really put my finger on why it happened in GT4.

Well not really "it", sorry about that btw. What I meant was don't PD usually announce something after the maintenance?

If they were planning on releasing something they would have said something by now.

If it's bug fixing they don't normally announce it before hand and the changes will be revealed later 👍

This is why it's always better to expect nothing from a maintenance, because I could well be wrong. I very much doubt it though. (as much as I'd like to be)

True. Than again, I don't really want to expect anything to feel disappointed after (just in case). I do agree what you're saying though, maybe tomorrow they'll announce something? Lets not have our expectations to high. :)👍

One of the things I didn't realize after the last update that they changed till the other day. The VW Golf RM they changed the sound. It may have been another update before it. I just know it happened sometime during the last few updates

Also, just to point out, Gran Turismo 5 was in the spotlight for the Playstation Blogs Community Update story.

Since servers are up under the maintanence i don't think it is something major.
Perhaps some cleaning in seasonals and some extra CPU power added.
I guess 14th is good day to do it since many will be offline and seeing their loved ones, as a true racer a pretty girl outside the racetrack is as important to handle correctly.

So, they are downloading more RAM? :dunce:

Maybe we will be able to change rims on cars that the rims couldn't be changed like the veyron.

Premium update for all standard cars. JK That will be GT6. I think it is one is for standard patch and bug fixes and the second one might be a tweak of the game in some way ie change the home screen or something

There's a simple reason it's called maintenance.
All standards turned to premium, full weather effects on all remastered tracks and a demo of GT6.

Believe, or I'm a monkeys uncle.
