Major Stockyard Glitch "Watch Out"

for all who are following this ive been at a fix for what happened to me for hours and there is only one way of getting these certain cars back and that is to delete your entire career and start fresh ... so im back to never been in one race but got the anniversary cars back at the cost of losing money other cars and game progression

So i stockyarded all of my gt academy cars went online to play for a bit came offline went to get one of my stockyard cars and it said no cars ..so i pressed back and tryed loading my garage up again and it has deleted my entire gt academy collection =( cant see any way of getting them back either .. really not cool at all so keep a eye out for this everyone , if it happens just turn console straight off DO NOT press back as it will save your stockyard as empty like it has mine ..

Thanks for the heads up. I won't be using the stockyard until this is sorted out then. I already wanted to transfer my AE cars to the stockyard. Thank god I didn't.
 
The game is at my house but i wont be home till Sunday night to play. Is that the actual name for a separate storage location, And not the same as the normal garage?

no its literally storage for the unused , there doesnt seem to be any gift a friend a car car bit either so best just to stock pile everything you get ...when the glitch is fixed
 
Good finding that glitch, but honestly no one is going to need that stock yard any time soon, who has amassed that many cars already? The garage holds 500 max and the stock a ridiculous 9,999 cars...seriously? PD needs to send an update to fix this and also to return the option to turn on mechanical damage in Arcade mode it's missing as I was looking for it to turn it on like I do in GT5. No where to be found. I see another update coming in less than 2 weeks for sure. Anyone notice how really dirty your car can get when you take trips off the course, I drove my Viper off road a bit on Daytona and it was dusty all over.

Is 10,499 total cars enough for the car collectors that want to get one of every car in every color?

Try going through the PSN store and not the in game store. You may find them there and be able to redownload them.

i did tht aswell mate , only way round is hope u had back up on usb or delete everything and start again

You have to be a PlayStation Plus member to do that.

thats me out then lol , it happens when trying to get into the stockyard so its best for now to not put anything in there at all chap

Copy your savegame to a usb stick, then delete your savegame, check if you are awarded the car when starting a new career. If it works that's what you'll have to do, start your career new, reinstalling the game or redownloading the car ticket from PSN won't change anything.

Yes you do. Whenever I try to copy a save file, it will say "You have to be a PlayStation Plus member to do this" or something like that, and under that it says "Join PlayStation Plus" and "About PlayStation Plus".

Weird, because I'm not a member and I was able to copy my GT6 save to my USB last night. And I've been able to do the same for several other games prior to this. Are you sure you're looking at the right option?

That's for a backup copy in the PSN "cloud". For a regular copy of the game save on an external USB device PSN+ membership is not required.

Yeah.

What could be the issue is that your USB may not be in the right format. It should be in FAT32. Also, make sure your USB is connected to your PS3.
 
Well if game got issues I will wait till release with fixes as not desperate for it as yet, and as for copying save it is easy and don't have to be ps+ member if check you have 2 save sections in xmb so make sure you select the right one and also the usb sick save and not online save which think 6ranTur15m05 was doing above and got it wrong and assumes you need be ps+ member as you don't have to be. If you did nobody would be duping saves at all anyway as not every ps player does become full member anyway as I am not ;)

Going online this early - BIG MISTAKE..

So many people lost their game data doing the same with GT5.

There's no point going online now, use this time to build up your garage & give it a few weeks for PD to sort out the issues.

Backup constantly at this point in the game, at least once an hour, before you go online etc.

No you don't. I've saved to my USB three separate times so far and I am not a Playstation Plus member.
