Hardly defenders of the decision but defenders of the work-in-progress that a game like this suppouses to be.

It may look like the same, but there is a whole universe of difference.
 
Did hell freeze over? PD admitting wrong, with clarity, and correcting the mistake, in a timely fashion, and with compensation, this does not happen… 😳

One million doesn't feel good in this economy. It's like AE edition, I felt scammed after I saw what I got. I think it's not frozen yet.

There's thousands of those kinds of shills in a few Gran Turismo Facebook fan pages. Amazing how they can't see racing around the ranch 50 times is masochistic and NOT fun. They think it's just "part of the grind."

Wear a leather jacket and shades, not a top hat with a monocle.

Good job to all who complained, you are the reason they are making these positive changes.

Now as long as they tweak Sport mode and improve camera options, this game has potential to be an all time classic (especially that we know we're getting plenty more cars/tracks)
 
A step in the right direction, but don’t be fooled, this is not goodwill, but rather a necessity from their point of view. My faith in Kaz is forever lost, and nothing can fix that. I don’t know if these changes are enough for me to reinstall the game either, I’ll have to think about it.

It’s not the 1 million really, it’s more that they are doubling the payouts for racing, so basically it just doubled the value of your in game time. That’s pretty good, could still be better, but it’s a start for sure. 👍

maybe you its time to refund your game if you scammed. because the 1 Million credit is enough to majority instead grinding for 24 hours.
 
I can breath again - increased payouts and endurance events added. The correct step forward.

Selling cars is welcome too.
 
I'm very happy they decide to make something and are actually listening to some complains. Still no words on other ways to get engine for engine swap other than pilling luck on luck.

Yes, MC shows how good economy is. One million is nothing in this game. Currently we have two cars for 36 million for both. Will you buy it for this awesome one million? I don't think so.

Well, Hell, Michigan does freeze over every year, so I'd be on the lookout for flying pigs or dogs and cats living together.

As I said on another thread:
What Winston Churchill once said about America applies to PD (assuming the follow-through happens as presented) - PD will eventually do the right thing after it first does every wrong thing.

Welcome news, and good to see so many aspects of the game's shortcomings are being addressed quickly.

I hope that people who have review-bombed GT7 consider adjusting their reviews (though somehow I doubt it) in light of the forthcoming improvements to the game.

I also hope that PD/Sony will reconsider the price of their microtransactions too, though this could well be a self-correcting problem as they are simply too expensive for most people to even consider let alone use.

I agree with the sentiment of adjusting reviews but personally I would hold off on adjusting the reviews until the reasons for them being so negative has actually been fixed rather than doing it now based on a promise they'll be fixed.

Once that's happened then the right thing to do would be adjust the reviews and scores to reflect that the game launched badly but has since been improved/corrected.
 
This is massive, the fans have moved the unmovable. Lets show them some support by undoing the rating mess when the patch hits. They did give us exactly what we wanted so I think that's fair.

Look in the gift section of your garage, and redeem it sometime before May 24. Do be aware that if you already have over 19,000,000 Cr., you'll be wasting some of it because the cap raise hasn't happened yet.

This is definitely great news!
Let's wait and see how it plays out. But for sure we will have a better experience by the end of April.
It's nice that they are already adding new cars to the game.
 
The endurance races will please many, but I'm just thinking...

They're missions, and AFAIK you can't repeat missions and get the same cash reward?
 
higher online payouts are nice for people who are fast. for me it still will be big trouble to get in the first 10 people :D
