will this movie be a hit?
i saw the preview wen watching star wars attack of the clones, it it looked PRETTY SICK!, hope the movie will be as sick as the trailer....

not really sure but i revived this thread just in case anybody trys to make ANOTHER matrix reloaded thread...

they are supposedly releasing the 2nd one then a few months later the 3rd should come out since they filmed both at the same time....hopefully it's not all just hype and ends up being crappy.

your post didnt make any sense, if u've been to the movies u kno when the 2nd one is coming out and when revolutions is coming out.
i hope its a good movie, no doubt the action sequences will be hot

Who's post didn't make sense?

I picked up my tickets Yesterday.

Now If I can only find an IMAX that's selling tickets ahead of time.

Well, I read a review in my local newspaper and it got a really good score. Also, it mentioned there possibly being a Revolutions trailer after the end of the movie(after the credits). I hope that doesn't spoil it for anyone, but I figured anyone who sees it might want to know that. I know I do. I hope to see it on Saturday.

I hope your paper is correct, mine didn't give it such a good review. I think they described it as being "phenomonally talky and filled with action. How could it be both you ask? Well, it's extremely long."
Not the nicest thing to say IMO, but that's what reviewers do I guess. (It's 2:18 btw.)

I wasnt overly impressed. The film lacked....substance...a core which all characters were inevitably drawn to. It also had a sort of 'star wars prequel' emptiness to it...where everything looks real and cool...but it just...doesnt fit...and isnt.

It hasn't come out in Oz yet (comes out tomorrow!) but the news said that it is one of the most anticipated sequels so I reckon it'll do good in the box office charts. :)

Damn i guess thats why there were a whole lot of people just sitting there at the end of the movie. Oh BTW awsome movie. If i had 5 hands i will give it. 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

I liked it but a "to be continued"..(actually it said to be concluded which means that the third is probably the last).. wasn't what I was expecting....the visual effects were cool especially towards the end. The thing with neo stopping those attack robots confused me...was the "real world" just another matrix? What do you think?

Hey, no spoilers please skylineGTR_guy, I'm going to see this movie tomorrow! :D

I'll ditto Dodge above. No spoilers please.

Well, I saw it last night, and was simply impressed. The innuendo and foreshadowing were very well done. From my persepctive, I'll follow along with what GTR-Guy above said. My thoughts are similar.

This is without a doubt an Action movie. If you don't see this inteh theater you're missing a fantastic 2.5 hours of sheer 5 point safety harness, edge of your seat movie.

Was it as good as the first? Yes and no. The action blew the first one out of the water. The story line on this first one was better than this one. This one certainly leaves plot holes and thoughts wide open for answering in the third one.

To me it felt like there should have been two movies instead of three. I think that this one wasn't fully explained, but to do it would have lasted 4 hours. So they simply expanded it into 3 flicks instead of two. Not an exceptional movie, but it will make more sense when the third one is released.

If you've never seen the first one, you'll have no clue what this one is about. make sure to watch the first one or you'll be quite confused.

Now my final note is when you do go see it, sit through the ending credits as there is a teaser for Revolutions after them.

OK, I'm going to see it in about 2 hours, and i'll make sure to stay until after the credits! :D

I came, I saw, I enjoyed.... yet I somehow walked away with a certain level of dissapointment. Some of the special effects ended up looking pretty fake (Computer generated Neo in certain areas of his fight with "several" Smith Agents among other areas.)
I also felt that the first one was visually "tighter" than this one, and had more memorable imagery (although this one has some doozies.)
And there is one scene with lots of dancing and sex which is completely useless to the movie, and ruins a good moment entirely. I hope it gets cut down to 5-10 seconds in a future directors cut.
Overall It's a great action flick, but doesn't break any new ground the way the first one did. I give it a thumbs up to anyone.

Anyone seen the thirteenth floor? No? Just wondering.... it made me think of something that might be important to the sequel...

Edit: And did anyone else see the trailer for Freddie Vs. Jason ?(Freddie Kruger ala Nightmare on Elm Street Vs. Jason ala Friday the 13th.)
I thought Hollywood had sunk to a new all time low with that, but the trailer right after that was for Legally Blond 2, proving me wrong. ;)

What can I say! Just saw it today, and I loved it...that car chase scene was very cool, and the twin guys...:)

I waited ten minutes after to see the trailer, but it didn't really explain much about the next movie...only that rain thing made sense...I got a little confused in Reloaded, in one of the parts...heh.

My second favourite movie after xXx...I agree Tom, that sex and dancing scene had nothing to do with plot or action...so it should've been cut down a lot, if not just deleted out...

EDIT: There was this really cool ad for the Nissan Z though, it was in Prague...it was a VERY nice ad...at first i thought it was a "Getaway in Stockholm" style video...:O

I've seen it twice now.:D I thought it was very good although I do agree with you both that the dancing/sex scene dragged on way too long. The fighting and action scenes in this movie were some of the best I've ever seen. I also liked how they added quite a few humorous bits during the more "talkative" scenes. Overall a great movie IMO, I'm looking forward to the third one. :)

I probably won't get to see it until it comes to Blockbuster or something. My parents are stuck in the times where the could "got to the movies for 50 cents" or something.

Does the dancing/sex scene have nudity b/c if it does i probably won't get to see it unless with my parents as they sit with remote in hand, ready for action.

The sex scene has nudity, but you don't really see their "rude parts" it's just them kissing and ****...

Yes, but not nearly as fake looking as the CGI Hulk:)

Nothing looks as bad as the effects in that trailer... I almost wonder if they were trying to make it look like the video game after playing the PC Demo (which was actually really good.)

Hey Tom, what was on the 13th floor?
