McLaren "invited" to a extraordinary WMSC meeting

What makes no sense to me is that on April 2nd, upon being presented with the team radio and interview, Lewis and Dave Ryan (or whatever teh name of his race engineer is) still said that they did not "let" Trulli past. I just can't make any sense of it.
 
Perhaps it really was a case of not wanting to admit they lied in the first place, either way, it was a very stupid series of decisions and I really hope McLaren have attempted to repair their relationship with Toyota and FOTA or make steps towards doing so.
