Why did I not watch The Grinch Who Stole Christmas this year? I can't believe mom didn't tell me it was on TV. Weird.

Merry wet, rainy Christmas.

Merry Christmas every one!

Merry Christmas from California! I'm sure that reaching 3,000,000 posts will be a great present for the site too.

For a moment there, I thought you said you had 3,000,000 posts. Now THAT would be scary.
Oh yeah, Merry Christmas!

Merry wet, rainy Christmas.

I think those winter storms all turned into rain everywhere. They did here for a nice, normal, rainy Christmas.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas to all, and best wishes for the new year!

I got a bunch of gift cards so far. The real kicker is we just got power back after the transformer exploded last night around 10. It was seriously 55 in my house when I woke up and that's cold.

Happy christmas

Oh, and lots of money. Off to Grandma's place here in a bit to meet the rest of the family. We'll see what happens there. I imagine quite a few gift cards.

Wow, this is a nice touch. It's snowing again today, which makes it my first white heavy Jesus.
I noticed that there is a horizontal tree in the back yard that I could swear wasn't there before. Oh well. I won't be getting my presents for a while, but my mom's boyfriend just got me a nice multi-tool. I shall be reporting all presents soon.

Merry Christmas everybody!

We had a huge meal with some friends of us and my girlfriend, I've never been as stuffed as today 👍

Also, I got a Lacoste Elegance set, a deodorant and a parfume in a nice box from my parents. But the present I got from my girlfriend was just totally kick-as awesome:

Ibanez "Weeping Demon" WD7 Wah-Pedal. I gave it go on my Fender Strat earlier today and it's incredible! Oh my I love the sound of this combo 👍

I had a fairly decent Christmas, gift-wise.

(bottom thing is a USB "drum set")
Not pictured: the Nikon digital camera that I used to take this picture.

Got most of what I wanted (I can buy the rest later on).

How I Met Your Mother Season 3
Miami Vice Seasons 3-5 (Finally!)
The Longest Yard (Sandler)
Escort X50 Radar
$300 Sports Jacket (needs tailoring)
Midnigh Club: Los Angeles
Cash

Not bad I suppose. :D

Still can't get my camera but here's a basic list of some of the stuff I've got which is worth noting: Audi R8 Kyosho 1:18th, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Richard Hammonds As You Do, new guitar picks, a tab book for Foo Fighters, and more importantly Foo Fighters Live At Wembley Blu-Ray, thank you Tommi2000 for that great gift!

So Bram, what exactly does it do? Is it like the effects on some amps like "Flanger", "Reverb" etc or what?

I got a brand new HP laptop. Finally I can use a full keyboard :D

Merry Christmas!

I got exactly what I asked for!

"Don't wake me up before 10:00 AM!"

When you're older, and have had kids for over 10 years, peaceful sleep is the best present of all. :)

Never heard about a Wah-pedal and you play a Gibson?! Just kidding there ;) What you're having in mind now is a multi-effects board where all the flanger, delay, distortion, overdrive, and wah are stored into one. (And lots more as well)

Pedals that come with one effect only are called "stompboxes". You just kick on these and the effect comes on. I've had a BOSS OS-2, for a long time now. It's a stompbox with both overdrive and distortion. I like it, but it's a little too heavy for me incase of sound. Here's a nice example between a wah stompbox, and a wah-pedal. In my case, I've recieved a wah-pedal, and after some reviews, it turns out that the Ibanez is amongst the better, if not best along with the Crybaby, wah-pedals :tup

Ibanez WD7 Wah-pedal:

BOSS AW-3 Wah-stompbox:

Note that Jason Spencer in the BOSS video plays a lot more wah music than the guy in the first video. The guy in the first video has too much distortion on his Strat for my likings :)

Our gifts are done and we had a big meal of prime rib, Yorkshire pudding, and broasted potatoes. Hooray for being English!

As for gifts I got:
$850 in cash
$150 in GameStop giftcards
$50 Applebee's giftcard
$50 Longhorns Steak Hour giftcard
A MINI Cooper HotWheel's car
The July 1964 issue of Car & Driver featuring a Mini Cooper S rally car test and an Alfa 2600 road test.
John Cooper signature decals
Futurama calendar
A couple Moosejaw and Nike thermal shirts
A Nike hoodie
A NorthFace Cirque fleece top

I still have to have xmas with Kate's family on Saturday too so I have to imagine there will be more stuff.

Firstly, I don't play a Gibson SG, sadly its only a Epiphone SG G-130 :( Anyway, I understand what you mean with the pedals now, although some of the effect (not all of them) are similar to what I'm getting on my Rowland Cube 30X Amp. Maybe I'm missing the point a bit, I mean it looks a awesome thing for the kind of music your into and perhaps you should make a video sometime of you using it which may demonstrate how it can be used in music as I don't really know many songs which use that...Anyway, thanks for taking your time to explain it and I hope you have fun with it. Still a awesome gift, especially from a girl friend! Now if I could find one which gave me guitar related gifts....

Anyway, sorry for taking this a little OT.
