California must be great...

you can*:

1.) Get away with murder
and
2.) sleep with youngsters!

* you must be a celebrity

lol....had to throw that in.

I'm glad most of you aren't part of any justice system, convicting people already before they had a proper trial.

OJ wouldn't get away with murder if they would illegally give him a second trial now. He got off the hook only because his attorney found a fault with the court.

OMG, I agree with smellysocks. What's the world coming to! :dopey:

Forget the trial... that lady with the doves is what scares me the most at the moment. :dopey: :scared:

And just think...Martha Stewart went to jail.

Jacko is a kid in a mans body and i think justice has been done. He acts and thinks like a kid and i truly dont think he would do them things.

I knew he'd walk, but I think he's guilty.

America, you're Justice System does not work.

Wacko is a 40 year old man - he sleeps (in the same bed) with young ill boys. He has already settled out of court for two other such families of boys to the tune of $23million. His whole ranch is a 'honey trap' for kids. His extreme plastic surgery obsession proves that he's mentally abnormal - i'm sorry, you just don't do those kinds of things unless you are that way inclined - theres no smoke without fire.

He might have been aquitted this time, but his time will come. He needs to admit to his problem and get proper help.

If 'The Glove' don't fit, you must acquit... :sly:

Prosecutors bungle celebrity cases. See Kobe Bryant, OJ, MJ.

I can't belive the Jury members have turned around and started saying he is guilty.

Guilty or not, they think he is innocent...or atleast they did.

I think he's very stupid for what he does but I honestly don't believe he's a child molester.

You must acquit when McCauly won't say s***!

I don't have an opinion on this case, however, the jury found him not :guilty: .

Another Part Of Me
Smooth Criminal (indeed)
In The Closet
She Drives Me Wild
Childhood

Ditto... atleast he says he is going to modify his behaviour i.e. start acting like an adult, from now on...

... at least he says he is going to modify his behaviour i.e. start acting like an adult, from now on...

01/15/29
Martin Luther King is born...

11/09/89
The Berlin Wall falls...

02/11/90
Nelson Mandela is freed...

06/13/05
Remember this date for it is a part of HIStory...

This is from his official site - so he's comparing himself to Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and the unification of East and West Germany - signaling the end of the Cold War.

And you still think he's going to start acting like an adult?

Those are strange choices of dates. They don't mention Dr. King's death, the end of segregation, the end of apartheid, the end of the USSR, the moon landing, also he's picked dates of significance to African-Americans, and capitalists, strange.

also he's picked dates of significance to African-Americans,

Probably because he used to be a black man.

Probably because he used to be a black man.

yep, about 20 years ago.

Nevertheless, I have a hard time picturing current Michael identifying with that community.

Just for reference...

Jackson was NOT PROVEN GUILTY, which is markedly different from being PROVEN INNOCENT.

Further to that he wasn't actually proven to be not guilty, but it couldn't be "shown beyond reasonable doubt" that he was guilty and so innocence must be presumed.

FURTHER to further to that, statements have been attributed to jurors which run to the effect that they believed Jackson HAD been involved in impromper conduct with children in the past but there was simply not enough evidence for the "beyond reasonable doubt", and that the Arvizo's testimony was unreliable and conflicting and the mother was just plain untrustworthy.

So Jackson HASN'T been proven innocent. He's not been found guilty, beyond reasonable doubt of the offences detailed.

I knew he'd walk, but I think he's guilty.

The man (is that the right word?) is obviously a child molester. Ask yourself what a child molester would do if he had millions and millions of dollars and what you'll come up with is neverland ranch.

He's a rich smart child molester who picks his victims carefully and picks his lawyers carefully. He's obviously a sick individual.

In America, it is difficult to convict someone of criminal activity, especially if they have committed lawyers. However, I very much prefer that we make it more difficult to convict someone of a crime than making it too easy. I'd rather we aired on the side of letting a few criminals go than putting a few non-criminals in jail. Juries, however, are a problem since jurors typically do not understand the law they are supposed to rule on.

By the way, Culkin was not going to claim that Jackson molested him - he has everything to lose by saying that. His career would be over in an instant.

He hasn't ever been proven guilty of this. The people who declared him to be not guilty obviously had a more in-depth view on this case than you did, so until he's convicted for these types of crimes you shouldn't be assuming anything different. He's weird and some things are suspicuous, but luckily the justice system is based on fact and not on assumptions.
