And in other F1 gossip Ralf's wife (Cora) was (maybe still is) a glamour star. Her nickname in the paddock was "Hard-Cora". True story.

I wish MSC all the very best as I'm sure everyone does, it's good to see that despite the F1 community having been seriously divided by some of his performances over the years they're all pulling together to wish him well!

He will not give up until there's hope he is a warrior, but maybe he is too good for this world. God might want him to race with Ayrton.

It's probably going to be the biggest challenge of his life if he survives and wakes up with servere brain damage.

People have come out of these situations with hardly any brain damage, maybe the slightest bit of memory loss, whilst others have had rather serious damage. We won't be able to tell for a while which one it is.
On another note, it's good to see no more hospital conferences.

Apparently, the source was Today magazine. I think that's the German equivalent of Closer or Take a Break, so I wouldn't really trust their rumours. Also, it's been 18 days. People seem to think that a couple of weeks instantly means he'll spend the rest of his life like that - some induced comas last a few months. Also, they are getting worried by the lack of hospital updates, which I see as one of the best signs

This is definitely not what I wanted to read.

*Bad feelings, go away*!

Morten Hauerbach, Schumacher's "ski accident twin" is a Danish soldier, who also had a ski accident on December 29, 2013 in Méribel. He was not wearing a helmet and also hit his head on a rock, resulting in a triple skull fractures. He also fell into a coma. After 5 surgeries, he woke up and in on the mend.

It's not that he's in a coma that they can't get him out of. He's in an induced coma. They're giving him drugs to keep him in a coma to relieve swelling in the brain. He'll hopefully get better but it's going to be a while before they take him out of it.

True but he was already in a coma when he arrived at the hospital and the doctors decided to keep him in a coma by giving him drugs that induced an medical induced coma. Doesn't mean when the doctors use drugs to get him out of this induced coma, that he will wake up.

That's how I see it but I can be wrong ofcourse.

Schumacher stole Frentzen's girlfriend Corinna, now Mrs Schumacher, when they were Sauber-Merc team mates.
Mister dog investigated and found this:
Michael started to go out with Corinna in November, 1991. It’s well known that before that she was the girlfriend of another driver, Heinz-Harald Frentzen. Heinz and Michael were teammates at Mercedes in the Group C racing series. But on contrary with some rumours Michael did not “steal” Corinna from Heinz. According to Heinz himself in Timothy Collings’ book “Michael Schumacher – The life of the new Formula One World Champion”: “It was not something that Michael did. I think we were seperated, she and me, before.”
Meanwhile i'm wishing der kaiser all the best with his recovery, was never a fan of his but these unfortunate accidents shouldn't happen to nobody.

I'm fairly certain he was in fact put into a coma as oppose to falling into a coma, could be wrong mind.

Media are bored of waiting for news and are putting pieces of old info together with made up crap to make a news story, really isn't anything to worry about, as the family and hospital have said, wait for updates from them and trust nothing else, effectively.

Edit: Exactly the same goes for that Yahoo story, I find it incredible that people seem to forget every single head and or brain injury is different, you don't have to have a PhD to know that.*

*Aimed at the person who wrote the article not Furi :p

Joe Bloggs? What is Joe Bloggs? Googled it but didn't find a decent answer.

Schumacher was in a coma when he arrived at the University

I read it in other interviews as well.

^ This.

When Sports Illustrated is quoting the Daily Mail, there's obviously been a lack of research.

yeah... formerF1doc on twitter wrote a small blip about the situation and the media, and all of it is speculation because nothing has been formally proven. Therefore, speculation is our best guess as for now (he said it himself but differently) and comparison with other situations is all we have until we ALL actually see his condition.

I've been following this since it happened and it sincerely makes me sad.

Not only because Michael is the public figure and legend that we all know, but also by the fact that it happened with a seemingly good father and husband, just nearly at new year's eve. A date on which we should all be celebrating with the ones we love and care about.

Respect and support for the family through these difficult times.

.... don't forget that he is also a very nice person when he is amongst friends. I said it before and I'm going to repeat it.

Marc Goossens, ex F3000 pilot was or maybe still is a very good friend of Schumacher. Marc told a friend of mine, who told me, that he (Marc) went out to have a few drinks with Schumacher on many occasions. He said that Schumacher is is a very nice person.

Thanks for explaning the Joe Blogss thing. I was thinking in that direction but wasn't sure, so I asked what it means. :D
