I like the vanilla more since I was an OP...(Suggestion dunc) but I dont think eye of ender works well in the old world... imo.

Edit: Yes the server did crash.

Notch Recently tweeted that hate is in the Yogscast for posting foul language at Minecon... Really? And yet people are all right for letting Children in LasVegas for minecon? Double standard there..
 
It's been spreading across the internet all night, but we don't know both sides of the story yet!
 
Apparently the Yogscast was f-bombing kids(what I take from his hint).
I'm very sorry about the behavior of the people we won't work with any more. Celebrity or not, you don't f-bomb kids.

Honestly the Yogscast has been full of themselves when they said they were the people who helped spread minecraft and deserve the credit. And apparently the Yogscast is going to post a "Truth" video.
 
This interests me for sure, can't wait to see the truth come out :).

Its even more so interesting due to Notch publicly paying them out, surely there is a legitimate reason?
 
Thing is, the average age of Yogs viewers is pretty low anyway, and their videos have swearing in them. It's pretty normal around the place.

Yogscast have certainly helped spread minecraft, their videos are on the front page of YouTube all the time.
The fact that Notch thinks that they should not be paid to go to minecon (when asked by Mojang) is a bit silly, it's halfway across the world, you can't expect them to do that for free when they have to take time away from their normal work as well...

Will be interesting, I think I know who'll win though.


Oh also, on the point of the minecraft community being about respecting and caring, go spend 5 minutes on the official minecraft forums and tell me that :S
 
I think 30+ mins with the creator of Minecraft was good enough payment, more than other fans who also travelled the globe.
 
I am considering getting into Minecraft and am wondering if my new Laptop will be able to run it.

It has an AMD E-350 1.6 GHz Dual Core CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM and an ATi Radeon HD 6310 GPU. Will it run MC very well?

I think that is more than enough. Im running P4 3.0 (2 cores) 3 GB ram, nVidea 9400 GT 1gb and Im getting from 30 to 90 fps, But Nick would have to confirm it.

Is any of the extra map located at X 565 and Z 365?
When I leave the nether, I end up at some other portal and have to stumble my way back, and it was at those coords that i came across an abandoned mineshaft, so i raided it (and loaded it with torches) looking for watermelon seeds, I can't spot the small island that leads into the shaft on the cartograph but the island with the hole in it near the very top looks kinda like it. Sorry if it is.
Looking forward to getting /sethome and hopefully there is a way to come out the same nether portal you went in.

Server seems down.

It's possible. Please try not to travel too far in the nether as every 1 block you travel is 8 blocks topside. You can end up generating world really far away.
 
Ah, that may be it, I travelled roughly 2300X in the nether from the original portal searching for another stronghold to get nether warts from, since when I first went in the nether there was 1 wart plant sitting there and they take ages to grow, the closest stronghold had already been raided (I started playing again Sunday). I'll stay close now.

No it was fine. Maybe it only generates extra topside land when you make a new portal out of the nether? hmmm.

Is there a portal to get to the new world?, Is it the same world as Venturi? the portal in that tower near thorncombe isn't working.
