@ Dunc and RTSolvalou No, you can go as far away in the Nether as you want. You just can't make a portal and TP back to the surface with it, or it will do the little spawn-land-far-out-where-it-isn't-anywhere-near-the-other-thing(which will TP you back to that random person's one under his house, anyway, so it dosn't matter hin or there.)
 
Bet none of you can find my 5x4 wood house on that map, it's down south and in the ocean, sadly I lost it.

Anyone who can locate it in Minecraft shall be rewarded 500cr, if you still use the money system.

I am considering getting into Minecraft and am wondering if my new Laptop will be able to run it.

It has an AMD E-350 1.6 GHz Dual Core CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM and an ATi Radeon HD 6310 GPU. Will it run MC very well?

Seeing that your cpu alone(The Radeon HD 6310 is in the CPU chip) can play some of today's games at alight fps. There should be no problem running minecraft decently. Check the chart below and click it for a review of what it's able to do.


So you will be able to do leap and bounds better than TJ13's P4@3.0GHz computer! By the way, TJ13, your Pentium 4 is not a dual core. It's a Single core with hyper threading. Pentium D's were the first dual cores for the Pentium line.
 
Either way, But besides the fact I am on here to ask about the portals. Tried going to Nether and its not letting me do so... Wonder if it is something wrong or what?
 
I Dont know. I know I did my portal before bukkit but now I have no idea.
 
So, today at the server we had a discussion on aVo and I told them aVo has a good reason for griefing. They are not a bunch of random, moronic, justforthelulz griefers they are stereotyped as. They grief servers that have: Stupid admins, banning people for "being aVo" even if they aren't, donate servers, over-religious, (this is the random one) boats, terrible communities/players, and Reddit. Here's a video showing stupid servers that aVo rightfully grief.

Warning! You might find this offensive (as stated in the video) ...and language.



The point of the video was to show that aVo won't grief us unless we were totally moronic and idiotic as these admins were!​

I would suggest stepping up patrols just in case somehow avo decides to join up. I am looking though the comments of their newest video so far nothing about us...Will know if I find something.

Well, according to what Ghs has told me, "They grief only if they have a reason for it. The fanboys, (Such as Izak), grief for no reason whatsoever, and do random crap."

The guy who commented on their videos with our had said, "We can't be griefed", was supposedly a fan. If what Ghs had said is correct, then Avo won't come destroy our server just because we claim we can't be griefed. Hopefully.

Yes they go around looking for "idiot" servers mostly to destroy what they create. (Which in our case quite a lot) There have been a few comments in their video's with our IP address.
 
^ Depends. If you find the idea of forcing people to Donate, and become Christian an absurdly idiotic choice.. Then having people destroy it for that reason.. Then yes, you may laugh. I know I did.

That's what happened when Beep_Nitro and Josh came. That hasn't happened anymore. Although we do have visitors, they're not all together at once though.
 
Dunc I did play around a bit with the roads mod and I did extend the HighMetro line from our 1.8 island into the station. You can modify it the way you want it to be but I did the best I could. (While Yes I could of did a better job if a house wasnt in the way) Also if you want to completely remove it go ahead, Just let me know what I can and cannot use the road mod for.
 
Yeah, appointing a few more mod's would be very helpful, especially if an attack from anyone was to occur (something I've been suggesting for months and being ignored...)

Also, apparently MrCOOLfiat has dobbed me in for stealing something, or some 🤬. I'll check the official forums to see what's going on. Dunno what he's on about...

I'll take a look in a bit. At the moment I only want it used for paths and railway links although there may be other one-off places for it.

There isn't a great deal we can do really. If they come on, they will have their invisibility and destruction tools and run riot. We can only really act afterwards by banning then and restoring from backup. I don't expect they would attack us though as stated above, the real aVo only attack servers with bad ethics or admins.

Your petty good until someone goes rampid with something and causes a boat load of trouble (Josh) and have other people come on and go nuts those are the people that need to be on the watch for.

Well, my enchanted sword, axe and pick went missing from my chest a couple of days ago. According to fiat, it was you, which makes me suspicious it was actually him.
