Edit - Michael has burnt down one of Tlowr's houses in Thorncombe. Perhaps Adam was right from suspicion. Michael could be getting revenge for Jai. I don't understand why Michael would do this..

I have been here since long before most other players (I think I was 8th or 9th to join) and I only just got my VIP promotion about 3 - 4 weeks ago. Meanwhile, other members were being promoted left, right and center. VIP, Deputy, Sherrif, Admin. It ticked me off beyond believe, and I took it out on everyone (which I feel really REALLY bad about, it'll linger on me forever :(). It still does annoy me (only mildly :D) when other people that I don't consider worthy of the position, get promoted. However, it is all up to Dunc and the Queen Victoria. Duncan and Vic will choose who is promoted. So just do nice stuff, help people, build lots, and be devoted, and you'll get there. Just not yet. :)

Also to aid in the help of maybe getting promoted is do like what tlowr said but I am going to ask is that if you feel something is messed up say something, do some investigative work and then tell the higher uppers.

While Yes I have been on here about 5 months going on 6th and I am the fastest ranking player but I do more than just sit and play on the server. I did some research and figured out who was doing what and when, where people were getting IP's from see if they been banned from a different server.

I don't actually own Minecraft, but am playing it on a website that allows people to try it before they buy it and I plan on getting it soon.

I'm not sure if you mean the bold statement as an insult or what, but I don't just sit around and play on the server. I've got other real life commitments, a lot of which I push aside so I can be on the server, and help others. Also, I've tried to do research into things such as other members more than people realize, but as soon as I mention it, I get told "Just leave it to the admins, leave it to the admins, leave it to the admins, leave it to Chuck Norris, leave it to the admins." Soooooo there's that.

No, its perfectly safe, I've been using it for the past week without issue.
 
Can people please notify in advance before they get involved with, or do something that will require a rollback, you are screwing people over. People lose more than 1 person retrieves.

We had decided MONTHS ago that there were to be no rollbacks, especially after Minecraft was officially released. It was my idea, and Dunc, nick, and WallRunner (who was active at the time) agreed entirely. No more. People loose stuff, just because something got burned. My Cosy Cottage in Thorncombe was destroyed this morning by a griefer by burning, but I didn't go crying, I just rebuilt it. I suggest this happen for everyone from now on. :)

It isn't being developed anymore but it still works. I'm not even using the latest version as the older one is more lightweight. We may find that it stops working in newer builds but hopefully another developer will take it over.
 
Hey, been meaning to post here but I fully intended on playing again when 1.0 came out, computer died over the weekend so i have nothing to play on atm. Not sure when I'll be back in business as it's obviously a tight time of year.

Lost my Skyrim saves too :grumpy: 👎

If I did happen to launch a 'Griefing Organization' then surely I would be smart enough to have a crew member damage more than just one property before getting caught, wouldn't I? Think about things.

Roll backs are done if something big happens. a house yes that isnt major but what I accidently did was major by destroying the little mall by the graveyard... with a stick

You try to act mature to get people to like you only to later act the opposite. I have thought about it and it makes perfect sense.
At the "Enough.." comment; don't start things that you know will cause arguments and lasting impressions.
