Yeah, that's what the original idea was, I'll let you guys know as soon as I find a good spot. I'll have to get in touch with my friend who wanted to help aswell.

Alright, I've been looking up biomes that seems like perfect base for the city. I had found only 2 suitable looking biomes that actually exist in game and are not artificial. (NOTE: These pictures are taken from Google. I'm trying to find such biomes in the server.)

WallRunner, I am asking you to choose the type so I'll look for it.

On another hand, I'll try and gather supplies to make a Pagoda in the mountain like this.

I'm guessing the Amalfi coast, or maybe Capri?

And ghskilla, I'd say A. There's potential to do something interesting with those waterfalls, and there's a nice little bay...
 
I went to the Amalfi Coast a few months ago, that place looks like Positano, which is next to the Amalfi Coast. It is a really nice place and would take some hard work to make it feel like a small Italian town in Minecraft.
 
Even though I'm not in the server much, I would love to help out in building this area.
 
I would love to. Problem is making Italian buildings to scale and to their design. It would be a big undertaking just for one building.
 
These Italian towns always have massive staircases going from the top of the town to the bottom. And outside water pumps along with many narrow streets, markets and little alleyways. They also have many Ice Cream shops and Pizza Parlours, at least from my experience.
 
Alright, on the server Eclecticism found us a good spot for the city. What do you think about it?

We're still not sure of the actual spot, and WallRunner should be the one to lead this. So in your opinion, how's this?
 
Can Minecarts despawn? Or am I a victim of grand theft auto? I know I haven't been on the server for a while but damn. :lol:
 
I think they can despawn if left on a piece of track? Probably not, it's most likely that Tlowr stole it and he is stashing it underground, so he can make off to Mexico to take it apart and sell all the resources at a high price to make enough money to founder a cactus farm and a wishing well..

EDIT - WTF am I on about..

Well I had two sitting on a piece of track each inside my house, so yeah it makes sense if they can despawn. Also Tlowr taking them to Mexico makes sense too, but my house is otherwise ungriefed so I dont think anyone would take that much effort to ninja my minecarts when there are train stations with chests full of the things. :lol:

They're easy to replace anyway, I'm not fussed. :dopey:

Speaking of chests with things in them, I have a chest full of diamond underground somewhere and I can't find it.

That's it for now, but I will be making more tunnel systems in the mountains and build even more nonsense structures that I just bother to make anyway. :D

Edit: While I did demote sponge down to a player briefly but was back later on. also I did blame sponge for crashing the server which I later revised...(and thats the main reason why it happened) When it was really fiat and the jail plugin.

Yep, and I don't see how what's happened recently is any different to how it is the rest of the time in this thread. Always with the fighting, I just don't understand it.

Also, what the hell has happened to this server? People need to chill the hell out. It's a game. Blocks can be re-placed. If everyone just didn't touch what wasn't theirs we'd be fine. Is that so hard? If you see a block you think was placed by another player, ask them before removing or adding to it!

Have respect for others and they will have respect for you.

On that note, where my cows gone? :lol:

That's essentially why I've not been on the server, it seems like just so much whining to me now. Built a house in the desert, and I can't escape. It's ridiculous.

Anyways...

If possible, I'd also like to help build the coastal city. Unless of course everyone on this thread now has pure hatred for me.
