Well Sponge likes her new commands.
Mostly the item spawning and the tp2p.

Edit: Sponge says the doesnt remember spawning a ton of stuff. But others can confirm it was her since I dont spawn much.

Also she likes TPing fiat to other people which is annoying to not only to fiat but to the other player as well.

I just picked this game up the other day. Been playing single player and getting use to everything. There sure is a lot to take in.
Thought it might be cool to join a server and check out how multiplayer goes...

Edit: Sponge says she doesnt remember spawning a ton of stuff which only happened once and that was when I gave someone the wrong item someone else had requested.. But others can confirm it was her since I dont spawn much.

Also she likes TPing fiat to other people which is annoying to not only to fiat but to the other player as well because there is no other proper punishment available to a moderator, as jail is broken.

And its you. Since what Jai and Derp said they got items they didnt requested and in loads of them. 10K for rotten flesh that you don't remember doing. :grumpy: I have to say that Yes Spawning is fun to help out but learn to control it while this is a "Survival" server not a "creative" server.
 
I agree with TJ on the matter of spawning, I personally think that spawning should be restricted altogether.

And all this moaning about ranks, wouldn't it be easier to have just one Admin and the rest Players?
 
Jai said he needed the rotten flesh, and derp got wool that he wanted. I gave derp logs because I accidentally gave him items another person requested because I saw his name in the chat, and instinctivly put his name in by accident...

Also, Jai is suspected of almost half destroying Kittsville's farm, and BB log said he broke most crops and Lily pads. I don't see how it is accidental as trampling crops does not appear in BB log, only breaking crops does.
 
The farming thing was all an accident and I would be more than happy to replace them.

Also, do you guys mind the huge tower I made at the Strawberry Fields Spawn?
 
Why am I never on when items get spawned in? :lol:

Also the server is down for me, is it just me or...?

Well, multiple locations have been suggested, one of which Tesla still needs to post a picture of, but we're waiting for Wall to give a decision, since he basically started the whole thing.

I would agree on this, But in a bit different for ranks.
1 King
1 Queen
2-4 Admins (Preferably one's on different ends of the world to cover the server)
Rest players. (Basically have everything that a VIP and Deputy has.)

And for spawning, It should be restricted Since this is not a creative server but a survival server. The things that I have spawned are the ones that are pretty non-existant, like Lilly Pads, End Stone, and others.

While Yes Helping out people yes I would but I always ask the project that they need it for, and if it's for something stupid/useless then I don't. If their a new player I would give them a bit of leeway to get started.
 
Well, what I've been doing is teleporting to the player that needs an item and seeing what they are doing, and if it's plausable I'll help...

I don't agree on this spawning restriction, and it's not because of me wanting to spawn things...
 
TJ, I think we will need to do quite a bit of spawning for the Italian coastal town project. I mean, it's a big enough undertaking to create an authentic Italian town, let alone gather all the materials...

That project yes I would spawn in stuff but I mean in general. Spawning items to build your own house when you have like 10+ others? :grumpy:

Like I said before My spawning that I did is based on the project at hand.

Well DUH! It's not supposed to benefit everyone! Then change the game mode from Survival to Creative to benefit everyone! It's only supposed to benefit the player your helping, if it's a huge project then yes.
But that house outside of Venturi that I bet you spawned most of that in.
If I had it my way Spawning items would only be a King/Queen Thing. So No one can complain.

People would agree with me here, This is a Survival Server and spawning should be limited, if you want to spawn items go find a "Creative" Server.

I agree. I like that it's a survival server, but it's a bit strange seeing giant structures pop up everywhere when I'm just gathering materials and planning construction.

If there was a survival and a creative server, it would make people happier I expect, but I doubt Dunc could run both. Maybe some other trustworthy fellow with the means could start a creative server.

But would you kinda agree that the spawning should be limited. (I mean not like where it would have to be physically disabled) Since Yes I maybe hard but if you try to please everyone by spawning just go on a creative server.
Big Projects = Yes, Small ones, User Preference.
 
So can you kinda see where I am coming from?
That yes helping is good and while yes it may not be what some people would like but it's impossible to please everyone.
 
About the town, I'll hop on tomorrow and find some places, been busy the past few days with family stuff and games (Skyrim, Goldeneye, Medal of Honor, etc.). Post-Christmas is always a hectic time, :lol:
 
I don't have a problem with people spawning stuff but I wish they'd consider the landscape and structures already built near them when building. Whacking a sodding great skyscraper made of gold into the middle of a small town with wooden houses in is always going to look ridiculous and annoy everyone.

Just have some consideration guys! Also I'm not a fan of large flat areas when it comes to building. Much better to build with the landscape, not flatten it. Venturi, for example, seems to be just one large flat area and it looks a bit...generic in places.

Whatever happened to natural landscaping?
