It's not that. it's the fact that the measures taken when someone does something are a bit too strong. I remember, Spongey and I were in a PvP fight. Both Sponge and I were quite happy to be fighting. A moderator rolls in, and immediately freezes me since I killed her as soon as the mod walked in. I remained frozen for 15 minutes till the mod remembered he'd frozen me. That's too far. Sure, a good talking too or a kick since the mod didn't understand the situation, but wasting 15 minutes of online time and (in Australia) bandwidth, was ridiculous. This happens a lot. People do minor things, and get drastic punishment. Hence why people are quite angry over who gets banned, who gets promoted etc. Everyone thinks someone did something and got banned, so they shouldn't have VIP or such, or any number of combinations.
Might I remind you, just my opinion, but I think things could be a little more slack. We're a small community, and we have the rule list of a 200 slot server (trust me, I've read lots of big server rule lists, and they basically match ours).
