It's not that. it's the fact that the measures taken when someone does something are a bit too strong. I remember, Spongey and I were in a PvP fight. Both Sponge and I were quite happy to be fighting. A moderator rolls in, and immediately freezes me since I killed her as soon as the mod walked in. I remained frozen for 15 minutes till the mod remembered he'd frozen me. That's too far. Sure, a good talking too or a kick since the mod didn't understand the situation, but wasting 15 minutes of online time and (in Australia) bandwidth, was ridiculous. This happens a lot. People do minor things, and get drastic punishment. Hence why people are quite angry over who gets banned, who gets promoted etc. Everyone thinks someone did something and got banned, so they shouldn't have VIP or such, or any number of combinations.

Might I remind you, just my opinion, but I think things could be a little more slack. We're a small community, and we have the rule list of a 200 slot server (trust me, I've read lots of big server rule lists, and they basically match ours).
 
My normal punishment for PvP is a lightning strike! :)

I'm going to do a major reshuffle of the mods and admins. (some of which is already underway).

Probably a bad idea depending on who it is :\

It may do more harm then good :grumpy:

Since I have no say in anything anyways. (Even though I did manage to learn the server a bit more with some of the admin commands)
 
Yeah. Well if more moderators would follow your punishment, Dunc, things would be a lot easier :lol:.

Oh you better believe it, Jai. I havn't worked there, but it only takes 30 minutes waiting in line for that bloody Big Mac that they didn't make properly to see what orders they get. I feel for you, Dragon.
 
Who the hell eats a Big Mac, they taste like balls..

I often go for the expensive special edition themed burgers they bring out every month..

Also - a no rules server would make little sense for me. What's the fun in logging on and finding whatever you were building destroyed?.

The way I do it on my server is with factions. You are allowed to destroy other's land/forts/creations, but with factions you have alliances, etc.

Not much to begin with apart from less lag, less crashes and faster world generation.
 
I'd make the KFC in Venturi-new and populated cities. Things I need are stacks of red wool. It's bloody annoying getting the resources for colored wool. Server host - YAY!
