Yeah that's the thing though. A lot of people want to hold on to things they feel proud of.

Meh, I could really care less about the cool things i've made, but it's a different story for most.
 
My pagoda, my boat, my modern home, my minecart system, my Venturi mansion, my base/castle/mobgrinder, my pig spawner, my DIAMONDS. /cry

Exactly...I'd love to start a big project or something from scratch, but all I find on the Minecraft forums is a load of snobby elitist 🤬 who require 500 screenshots of your unvelievably amazing creations...anyway, yeah, I'm more than happy to just find a little spot on the server and maybe build myself a little......thing :dopey:
 
Id like to say something is that you should start fresh and import nothing from the worlds as is, and put up the other worlds for people to download and/or destroy
 
Well I think we all want to keep Rapture/Thorncombe at least. That was where it all started. It started with a workbench on the beach, now look at it. A masterpiece.
 
OK, I've decided to try this whole server-thing out, even though it seems to be a mess. Now, do I need to be online to get whitelisted? IGN: ParkourVeyron
 
My thoughts on refreshing.
Rapture/Thorncombe world is awesome, it would be wrong to erase that.

Strawberry Fields could be redone, we haven't built out too largely, we could just pickup the town, nearby desert+potion house, and the places south of it (and TJ's place to the north), and the venturi chunks, and dump it into a 1.1 world (otherwise, no jungle). And a similar situation for the nether, keep the 200-odd square chunks around the spawn or something.

Is the bubble world of any real use to anyone?

I think those are the only 4 worlds at the moment, apart from the newer nether that's in storage, but we can bin that since no one built anything of value there.
Not sure of the maximum world slots the host will allow us.

That sounds like a good idea actually. Although Vic's station and Venturi will also need to be copied I think.

Not at the moment. There is no real need as it's pretty cheap, I don't mind paying for it.

Who knows, if the server grows huge and we require more expensive hosting to keep it running then I might set something up.

So I'm going to start the transfer tomorrow morning (almost exactly 24hours from now). I won't be able to log on to the server to set any warnings so before I go to bed tonight, I'll set the welcome message to warn everyone NOT TO BUILD!!!.

Remember, once the transfer starts 24hours from now, anything you do or build will be lost.
 
Kewl! Now you've said not to build, everyone will build tons of stuff and rage when it dissapears. :lol:

Just to clarify, anything we build within the next 20 or so hours will still be there?
