Make sure to install the latest version of Tekkit by clicking Options on the page where selecting Technic/Tekkit etc.

Click Manual Build Selection in the Options, then change the version to the latest at the top.

But the problem is it stops downloading mid-way and I can't do anything about it. I tried that manual build thing, but it still stops mid-way.

Suck it up and keep re-trying to download. Happened to me as well.

I just kept downloading, and eventually it downloaded the whole thing. Just keep trying :)
 
But just a question, does the Technic use a seperate .jar file, because I just spent about an hour trying to get my mods to work because of one certain mod.
 
Silly Jai, everything with "LASER" in it is epic.
 
They have settings, mining, scatter, explosive, heat, long range, short range etc.

They can take out every block down to bedrock on long range.
 
Can they wreak havoc on things not rocks? Say... houses?
 
They can destroy anything you wish in a matter of seconds.
 
I take that as a yes. Oh, the fun will be doubled.

EDIT: Now, what you guys said about suck it up and try again, I've been doing that for a while now, it stops at 43% every single time.
 
I don't think you'll be on the server long if that happens...
 
New Tekkit update, server is down, get it up pronto! My EMC needs to generate while I'm gone!

I think later today I will jump on the server, I hear it has the Tekkit Mods (and also found out the hard way...) in order to get on. I love Industrial Craft 2! :)
 
I'm extremely late in the realizing that there is a GTP MC server :lol: I'll definitely check it out pretty soon. :) I'm currently on break from MC anyway. I'm waiting for all that 1.3 business to shake out, and then the plug-ins have to update... Good ol' Minecraft. :sly:
 
Found a Volcano in the middle of the sea, its mine.
 
^ Oh that one. Sorry I had to pinch some lava from it at one stage. but you'll still have plenty in there. They go down to bedrock.
 
does anyone know any good thumbnail generators, that might work as banner makers.
I need one for my minecraft videos
 
Found 4 of those Crevice things linked together, massive amount of cave around them all, with a few mine shafts. :D
 
Just so someone knows you still can't fly on the server unless you are a mod even with jetpacks and stuff so could someone fix that please.
 
I finally found out about this server. Playing with GTPers, i wan't to join, so just add Davidies!

Well, it seems Tekkit changed the thing of playing with GTPers. Before Tekkit you could easily be online an entire day without company.
