Possibly silly question, but has the server changed in the last month or so? Only it's no longer showing up on my list.

Huh. I logged in yesterday and it inexplicably dropped me in the old world, where I'd built that big orb I was going to change into glass. Last time I'd been on the server it was the correct one, where I'd built the chicken shop that got griefed. That was about a month ago though, so perhaps some of the changes made since have reset something for me?

Spigot has been released so we have gone back to the main server. The 1.8 server was temporary but the world has been kept. If you do /spawn you'll go to the new world. You can find your home using the dynmap http://play.torinet.eu:8123

The new world is called Frontier. You can now protect your home using a gold shovel as before.

Or you if you have a home in one of the old worlds you can go back to living there. :)
 
Another question: Is Torinet borked at the mo? I can't connect to it.
 
I made a horse racing track like the one on Ben Hur they just need to add Chariot's now !

It falls over occasionally.

If I'm asleep or at work, I don't realise so you have to wait a bit before I can restart it.
 
I got an idea for my next project. I'm gonna need a TON of Ice, Packed Ice and Quartz...

What's the difference between ice and packed ice? I'd help but I lost my silk touch tools in the server update :(.
 
Packed Ice is lighter in color than normal Ice and it won't melt when a light is close. However, it is not transparent like Ice.
 
I can give you all the ice you need. I won't be on for another 3 hrs or so though.

Anyone having issues joining friends from different regions. I (Europe) can't join my friend ( USA) with same 1.12 update.

Any know why this is

It appears to be a unknown bug that 4J doesn't want to fix. Other people are having issues, Not just Europe/US.
If you look at the forum for the PS4/X1 other people are having issues that are like yours.
 
@DQuaN What's with the server it's been down since 4am ish this morning.

In the next update, we'll fix the issue with #MinecraftPS4 in North America not being able to play with players from the rest of the world.
 
It would be good if you could put your PS3 Minecraft on the PS4.

They don't really destroy everything, so much as the blocks they originate from.

One of the best methods I've seen to get rid of every silverfish in the area is to dig a pit and have a few silverfish jump into it. Throw a splash potion of harming down there. Every time they take damage and cry for help more silverfish spawn from blocks in the area. Throw a potions down there a few times to make sure every one in the area spawns, then pour a bucket of lava down there. Deals with them all at once. In theory, remaining blocks should then be silverfish-free.

I do that and use the peaceful pack with extra utilities (Has peaceful table)

Also good to use those with other mods just to get a feel on what can be done.
