Dammit.. Chunks not loading properly for me tonight, and then getting kicked with the Java Socket Exception..

Guess I won't do anymore on the hillhouse tonight :-/
 
That carpet idea is nice but it's been built so that the floor of each level is the roof of the one below it. And I don't think many people would like a carpeted ceiling :lol:

Very nicely done!

May I suggest, white and red carpet for the lobby (If you have one) and then keeping the rest of it simple with like a dark blue or black carpet? I think that it would give it more of a feel like a hotel that way..

But then you said apartments.. Possibly some with wooden floors and others with carpet. Maybe leave the carpeted areas white so the 'owners' (if you sell rooms out) can edit them with their own preference?


And towards your TNT comment, ahh okay. I knew creepers didn't explode, just wasn't sure about TNT ;).

Baking Cobblestone. I left 2 furnaces burning Cobblestone while I dug out the base for the building, and I've been smelting more ever since in one furnace while using the other for glass. 👍
 
I just entered the server, all of it is just blue sky, and I'm floating. :odd: I also got kicked out with the, "Java Socket", exception.
 
Well this is currently what the server looks like to me and I can't load anything past that.

OH! That is near my house.... I'll be on the server (if I can enter it without problems) in around 3 minutes.

It's not like I don't have room. So, yeah. If Dunc's nice enough, he'll just let me upload this to the server. If he's not, I still made the damn thing. Oh, by the way, the first floor alone is 60278 square feet, or right about that, and as for the name, Twin Acre Villa, that's counting only the house and the little bit in front. This thing, on the first floor, achieves Mansion status 12 times over. I'm thinking a light rail system would be useful for inter-villa travel.
 
Extreme Lag issues... messed everything... takes 2 minutes to respond, resets things.... completely messed up.

Hmmmmm...it's all very odd, me and Dunc have been online all evening without a single problem.

Well, I'm doing more work on my house, the first floors of the wings are essentially complete, and I even spent the time copying a Painterly sword and pick on the hallways.

But now, I have a question for you guys:

Should I make the main entrance (Only entrance at the moment, soon to be fixed) ten blocks high, then put the Libri Prohibitum above that, same size, or should I make the entrance 20 blocks like the halls and make you enter the living spaces above the wings through the Libri? The more I think about it, I'd be okay with the latter, seeing as I'll still have a massive space under the Parthenon style roof for a master bedroom.

Is that the one that had all the redstone circuitry around it? If so, that wooden house and swimming pool is mine!

EDIT:

I found this cool plug-in that gives you a mob-spawner when you break one. I don't think it's been perfected yet, but when you place it down, it usually spawns pigs. This would be a good way to set up a pork-farm to allow people to have easy access to health! Plus it would encourage exploration!

I hit the limit with the apartments, but then took them down a few levels so I could put some lights on the roof for low flying....players.

Dunc, my start-up disk is filling up rapidly.

Both when the server is on and offline. This morning I had 6GB now I have 23MB. Is this SUPER dangerous for my computer?

EDIT: Just reached 0KB and my server crashed. Is this bad? D:

There is no redstone circuit at all, This is still way past the arena,
