Oi, been pretty busy lately and haven't had the time to hop on to the server and probably won't until Saturday, I had a friend log in (NascarAddict93) and he's been bugging me to play all week, I think he was on the server earlier tonight while I was working on a PC, hope he was nice! :p

I'll try to get on before this weekend and have a look around, looks like some cool stuff has gone down lately!

^^ Drivers. Like I said if this driver works I'll send you the link. Did you try compat mode?
I did and it didn't do well. :(

Also try the driver from the manufacture of your video card. You most likely let windows download the driver for you(might not be the latest). Plus if you came from Windows XP or Vista you most likely have a different driver compared to your last OS(Thereby lacking OpenGL).
Allright then, I will try that. Thanks Nick.

Dust, you created a giant dish. Now you're gonna dig a hole that goes down to bedrock and has a bigger area than your dish. Oh. My. Jeebus.

That's why I said you guys could do it :sly:
With the new golden vip tools it has gotten a lot easier to dig big holes.
The hole under my rocket house extends to the lowest bedrock layer and didn't take me that long to dig out. Would have been faster if not for the damn lava.

Dunc is still deciding on the requirements.
He used me for testing, that's why I have it already.

Added some beach chairs to the Community Pool that is in the town. Also tlowr4: Stop Digging random holes into the iron construction of the pool! It's not a mine!

You can break 1 block with those tools and they break multiple blocks instead.
Axe only for logs, pickaxe works on most stuff, even bedrock when you break stone next to it. You don't get the bedrock and obsidian though.
Shovel works for dirt, sand and gravel only and leaves the rest intact.

Also tlowr4: Stop Digging random holes into the iron construction of the pool! It's not a mine!

Actually, that was me. I was building a railway around the Thorncombe walls, and Tlowr was helping me. We needed iron for the tracks, and I figured the iron inside the walls was not going to be used, or seen. If that's an issue, then I apologise.

@nick and DustDriver

Yeah, granturismite and I nicked a bit of iron from inside it for the railway, it wasn't being used, and I do have permission from Dunc to take those sort of useless materials. I did dig a few random holes here and there, and 2 down to bedrock, both of which I will plug with smooth stone, and iron blocks where appropriate. However, I did do what I said and built a bar there, taking liberty of the nice texture of the iron for my floor and walls, as you will see in this post *clears throat*:

Here's what work I did today. All of this was done in the hours I was on the server.

EXHIBIT A:

The pool area:

Poolside reclining chairs were added for tanning or sun-baking, at each persons own preference. This adds a touch of inhabitant feel to that part of town (especially considering it's next-door to the graveyard...)

But that's not all:

A simple ladder pathway, leading down to this:

A bar, dance floor, and seating arrangements are located within the iron structure, with a glass wall onlooking into the pool's water. Netherrack contained in glass lights the sides of the bar, with the torches placed on the tables aiding in the light.

As can be seen in the image, the pub contains a dance floor and jukebox, for the wild partygoers. Bar stools are, as to be expected, along the bar for all the barflies that just need their good old liquor.

From behind the bar, we can see the high grade taps, designed to pour that beer to perfection. A full view of this level of the bar can be seen from here, as to ensure the safety of the persons within the pub's premises. This also saves on security costs, as security cameras and/or security guards are not needed to be purchased/hired.

Another level is currently being built, the restaurant level. Beneath that will be a pool table area, for those who like a game of 8-Ball. Details on those to come soon. :)

The newest installment of a house in Thorncombe, this 2 bedroom house is a sure to impress. Built by the owner and operator of T's Real Estate & Property Management, it is the latest in style using the famous "tri-top" roof design. It's spacious kitchen and open plan living design in the kitchen, living, and dining rooms gives the freedom to re-design and renovate if desired.

EXHIBIT C:

Very similar to it's neighbor, this house is built by the owner and operator of T's Real Estate and Property Management. It's design is similar to that of the previously mentioned house, however this house is only one bedroom, which is gives the bedroom itself and the overall home, a more spacious and generous living style. It's open plan living options in the Kitchen, Dining, and living rooms makes ease for anyone who wishes to renovate as desired.

Yeah tlowr4 I'm fine with it as long as there is no holes on the surface. I was just unhappy about the second hole through the iron blocks tunneling away from the pool. I'd just like to know what that is going to be used for.

Edit: Never mine. I noticed what it's used for now.

EDIT: WHOOPS! I meant to hit 'Edit' on my last post but hit 'Quote' instead. Sorry!

EDIT 2: @nick09 Yeah, that was an escape hatch for mob attacks :D. Every building should have at least two exits. And it only goes 3 blocks away from the actual pool. :)

EDIT 3: Has anyone else realized that this thread is on it's 100'th page, and soon will be it's 2'000'th post?! :D

Hey I see my house...lol, Still cant believe there is a pool outside my front door. rofl... Good Location I guess...

Better to use thumbnails if you want to help users with dialup as the pictures are already loading before they get a chance to see this :dopey:

^^ Good idea, dust. I'll do that now, THEN go to bed...I hope.

EDIT: Wait...how do I do thumbnails again? It's 3 in the morning, I'm tired, gimme a break guys :p.

EDIT 2:
nick09
Edit: Never mine. I noticed what it's used for now.

No, nick...ALWAYS mine. ;)

EDIT 3: Screw it, I'm too tired to change it. Sorry, but anyone with dial up's just gonna have to deal with it till the morning. If a mod or admin wants to edit my post and do it, go for it. But for now, I'm exhausted just to type this. Nighties.

I made a breathing room for those who like to take long dives and tend to take too long underwater. The room walls are made mostly of glowstone so you can easily swim towards the room for air before you die from drowning. I will be adding a glowstone arrow in the pool floor so you know where the entrance is.

So far the only thing I heard was Minecraft for Xbox not ps3...Unless enough people complain then we might get it but I doubt it. That might be the only reason why I just might get a xbox just to play minecraft other than the pc.

It's strange how Minecraft is on the Playstation phone, but on the XBOX instead of the PS3...

House hanging above the ocean is going nice.

If you enter and look out the window, it looks like the whole house will fall any second, you'll crash down, and die. :dopey:

Excuse me, Mr Tlowr. you seem to have left your items in my home (Thorncombe). please collect them soon, or I shall remove your name from the lock... you have been warned.

Sweet. So you had a single 1GB stick? That 512MB will help quite a bit if you have only one stick in the computer. So you can actually use the dual channel technology and that would be great on the server.
