Edit: I decided not to judge either of you because I have no idea what your other conversations are like, but the following still stands:

You could both end this just by not replying to each other anymore. If someone makes a useless or "mini-mod" post, just ignore it or report it, because replying just makes you a hypocrite.

I would very much appreciate if no one replied to this post either. If there's something wrong with this, ignore it, PM me, or report it, but don't continue this in the thread any more after this post or I will report it. If you have a meaningful, thoughtful reply to this post, go ahead and post it, but if you just want to tell me I'm being a hypocrite, don't bother because I already know.

Crap. I updated simpleatigrief and it seems to have reset the settings. I'll fix it now.
 
Is the server still being rebooted?

Edit - I can't access the server, all I keep getting when I try to access it is, "Took to long to log in"

Yeah me too! Something is wrong. I'm looking into it. Doesn't help that my client keeps crashing and minecraft.net is down.
 
I think it may be because minecraft is down. Looks like everyone's heard about the 1.8 beta release!!
 
1.8 removed/modified features-

Pressing F3 no longer displays mob number; thus preventing the player from seeing it

Brown sheep are much more common
Passive mobs are more common to find during daytime

Biomes are enlarged; some stretch to the horizon

Glass can be broken and be picked back up

During sunset and sunrise, horizon now stretches

Lighting system changes during weather depending on biome

Mushrooms are now biome specific

Some food items can now be stacked

Modified pig mob

New chest Animations

Spiders are much less common

Creepers are more likely to spawn in caves

When attacked, passive mobs are likely to run away

Anyone else hate the new chests? They're slightly smaller than all the other blocks and to me they just look so crappy when used in line with workbenches, furnaces, etc.
 
Minecraft.net is back up, I connected to the server. I was hoping for 1.8, but it was just some downtime. :lol:

Edit - Now it's back down. :odd:
 
This is weird. I'm able to connect to the server with 1.8 but nobody's there. Is it because it says "Outdated!" under "Minecraft 1.8 Pre-Release" ?

Edit: You can make your own server in 1.8 without leaving the program! :dopey:

Also, has anyone else noticed the new Ocean Biome?

Thanks for the input. I don't bother to read much in here unless it's written by Dunc or a few others because most is just bickering. I read it on a joystiq update and thought I'd share (all on my phone) and when I am I generally don't read through previous pages a lot when I'm in a hurry. I do appreciate your efforts to become a mod though.
