Working ok at the moment. Are you guys still getting connection problems?

Two new updates. Sign edit. Right click a sign to edit it. And chunkme. Type /chunkme to reload chunks if you find yourself in a void. It should automatically run when you teleport so you should never teleport into a hole.

*edit*

Also Warps. Type /listwarps to see them, type /warp <Name> to warp there.

Any chance of a mod that lets us set our own waypoints/warps?
I found an awesome lake miles away from spawn, but the only way to not lose it was to do /sethome

I went on quite an adventure trying to find spawn from there, which I eventually completed, but I didn't exactly mark my path. So I tried again but I couldn't find it, and it turned night so I gave up. A way to set both my current home and that future building site would be invalueble.

But the server is so much better now. Thank you for moving it, and doing whatever else you have to do to keep it running smoothly. :)

I can't connect either, but instead of a Java socket exception I just get connection timed out :(

Still unable to connect as of 2:30 AM EST, getting a "No route to Host" error now.

Are there any commands for mods to set up warps? I'd like to set one to my Castle/Town thing.

Also, do you have the names of the plugins you installed? I'd like to look them up on the Bukkit forums and learn more about them :D

I'm not sure I want to give users the addwarps command otherwise we'll end up with hundreds in the list! Whenever you find a new location, you can always press F3 and then note down the coordinates.

My remote connection to the machine is down so either the internet is down at home or the machine has crashed for some reason. I'll pop home at lunchtime and have a look.

No commands as yet for mods. I'm keeping it for myself at the moment mainly to make sure we only have a few warps. I was plannig on setting one at your place, I even went on a long walk to find it but couldn't. Can i have the coords please? Also, what are you going to call it?

It's a long list! I'll get it for you when the machine is up and running.

I could. The PC is on though. When I left for work it was in the kitchen whirring away (it's not quiet). I'm giong for lunch in two and a half hours so I'm afraid everyone has to wait until then.

Well if we are gonna wait that long, you might as well clean it up before you restore the server(I bet the fans are noisily since they have some dust on them). And Dunc's server right now is the main server for GTP players.

I'm not really going to have time to do that at Lunch. I'll just check it out and get it back up and running for now.

Well while we are killing some time, might I ask Dunc, what is it exactly do you do? You don't have to answer, I'm just curious. :)

Have you found the problem yet Dunc? If not, then take your time, as I'd rather wait a bit longer for an almost perfect server than have a buggy, frustrating one. ;)

Work for an IT support company.

Yup. Server restarted automatically after updates (need to disable this) and got stuck waiting for F1 at boot due to a CPU overtemp. Server is back up now. :)

Server is back up now. :)

*Runs to dark room to play minecraft* :)

EDIT: I was thinking of putting a 'community chest' somewhere in the spawn house where you can put the stuff you don't want but other people might find useful, but the entire spawn house is protected...

Alright. Been getting "End of Stream" and "Bad login" errors recently. Though the server has been running pretty smooth(60-80fps fullscreen) so far in the fps department.

It recently stopped an hour after my last post. Logging in right now is easy as it can get with no errors.

There's now a Railine AND a Warp to my city, currently named "Solitude" (I just pulled a name off the Skyrim map and it fits :p), warp is /warp solitude and it takes you outside the front gate. Railine is in the northeast corner of the station and is pretty neat to go on, thought about in the future making some small cities along the way to stop at 💡.

If we ever get craftbook/falsebook I'll make the city gates functional, along with a wired up lighting system that turns off during the day :D (Yes I'm pining for it).

Oh, why does it always rain on me? Is it because I lied when I was 17?

rain rain rain... anyway, downloaded a texturepack today (GEEKpack) but it is only relevent to Minecraft 1.5, so no maps or trapdoors in the pack. also, water and lava are represented by different coloured wools. but otherwise, it looks really really good.

and got disconnected today, with the simple server message, "Nope!"

Still also requesting block numbers 79 (x128 or more), 89 (x64), 322 (x128) please. Other resources, I can get myself, but it's very difficult, and impossible, to get these on my own.

And has the mod been in where you right click a sign to edit? just that the spawn area signs can't be editied at the moment

You need a sign in your hand to edit a sign. Also that "Nope!" error just means you right clicked halfsteps or stairs way too much(from my experience) and kicks you out(from spamming the server commands would be my guess).

When I try to edit sign, I type something in, click 'Done' and I end up with another sign in my inventory.

By the way, I'm terraforming my lake right now, and as a community project some houses could be built on the island and donated to helpers. Anyone interested?

Just bought Minecraft. Gonna try to connect to the server in a moment.
Username is Dust_Driver, as DustDriver was already taken.
