If you ask me I do let you benefit with my spawning abilities(No diamond blocks by the way). But I can't be doing it all the time(More than two people requesting at a time is too much and let me know of the item number if you want results faster) and I like to spend time building buildings and messing with redstone. My only interest in minecraft is the creativity side and it's very relaxing for me.

Yes me and dunc are very aware that you guys want to be able to spawn stuff but we can't limit what you spawn or how much you spawn(we can't have a million tnt going off and killing the server) so we can't allow you to. Plus dunc wants the server to be mostly "legit" built by the players.

That is the reason why TNT is now limited to only affect dirt, grass, and stone under 40 Y(vertical axis) which is far below modest sized houses with modestly sized basements. I'm sorry but only one person and I mean O N E P E R S O N can ultimately ruin the fun all of us have on the server(Thus the limit on TNT's possible damage area and there's some people on the server who are really into tnt but I won't say anything about them). If you really want to blow up the world make your own server and spawn tons of TNT. See? You can just use another server that lets you use tnt to get rid of your desires. Trust me I know someone irl who is really, really, really, into tnt.

Anyways, on the truly needed note, the sheep is probably gone now. They don't stay forever.

On a brighter light, what would be a decent, though tough material to build high standing architecture from?

Anyone have an idea for a project that can benefit the community?

Apart from making my house(s), I want all my projects to benifit people. Like the minigolf outside Rapture, the farm and railway in Thorncombe. I personally see no point in making a building for myself, and I am not exactly the most creative person around, so that rules out art/eye candy.

The amount of disrespect and cruelty I'm seeing in this thread and on the server is staggering. If you guys can't just get over each other and cut the passive-aggressive crap, I don't know why you're still on the server.

Also, continuing an off-topic argument after being asked to stop several times is not automatically okay because you added something Minecraft related at the end. I'm not trying to be a "mini-mod" but when some of you won't even listen to the actual mods, it gets frustrating to say the least. All of these stupid discussions and one-line remarks could be taken to PM, or better yet dropped completely. It blows my mind that some of you continue despite how easy it is to just cut it out.

Brick has the same explosive resistance as stone.
It though makes it for the rarity with a longer mining time.
Perfect for coupling with obsidian, to stop griefers from trespassing your property.
 
gt a good project for you might be making a waterslide down Rapture or Thorncombe Mountain, I'm sure the downwards current should pull a boat, might want to test that though on a smaller scale to save potential disappointment.

Using a piston at the top to release the 'starter water' after you have set and got into a boat should make it easy to use, which would push you into the rest of the permanent water of the slide.

Like a canal system? Such as those in the Rideau river in Canada, or those in Panama?

Just an idea, but how about we build something in the crater, above Thorncombe station.

Now I have to dig out 60% of my mob trap by hand. That's about 20'000 blocks.

In relation to the last few pages of bullcrap: *sigh* I want things to go back to the way they were a month ago. People weren't restricted to do stuff, creepers liked you, and the teenage, childing bickering was a rareity. Now because people yap on about random stuff, OFF TOPIC to the MineCraft server and/or game, people try to get back at the former by blowing up/greifing on the server.

It. Has. To. Stop.

I'm seriously thinking of not joining anymore, which is part of why I havn't been there for the past few days. I can't cop it. We all need to get some things out in the open sometimes, have a little whine, but when it gets to this extent, it's rediculous. Now I'm often the one that says we can move that rubber tree plant but guys, I really don't think it is going to work. And by making more and more strict rules, just makes things more difficult for others, and makes it less enjoyable.

OK. That felt good.

Now, as for my work on the server, I'm going to finish my house with teh lava floor, I'll sell it for about 550 credits. I've also reduced the price of my houses in Thorncombe to 350C each.

Actually I haven't implemented that yet but it's something I plan to do. It just enforces the underground only rule and prevents accidents like Wall's house. I can always wolrd edit your mob trap.
 
Dunc, can you run multiple servers on the one computer and internet connection? They would have to all be active at the same time too. 3 of them.

You can run multiple worlds, but not servers as far as I know.

EDIT: Just got booted out of the server...
 
I did get it but its lagging horribly, but only got half hour before the great new seasonal event starts.
