Should be possible if we keep the amount of mods to a low number with the 2GB of RAM(could have one of your old 512MB sticks in the third slot for that little bit of extra punch if it works like dual channel for the 2GB and single for the 512MB). As Ryan said if the server can't take two worlds then have the old server world for download.

Josh, it's a GTP Server. For people who are on GTP. Not a random guy from a server you used to go on, who signs up here, double-posts in this thread, then disappears, only being active on the server. Half the people you invited haven't even heard of GTP. I'm going by what DQuaN said. It's his server, so it's his rules. He could say we need permission to place/destroy a single block if he wanted.

I agree with Dunc, there are now waaaay too many unknowns appearing on the server. I asked 1 friend to be whitelisted and he's rarely on, now we're getting loads of randoms appearing who aren't even on GTP, or have signed up just to say they want in.
 
I had this idea when I was on MC is to hide the ip address to the server and if anyone wants whitelisted to PM an admin or DQ himself. Since anyone can just google gtp minecraft and it comes up first one.
 
I'll implement a simple new rule for inviting friends. If they grief, they and the person inviting them get banned. Simples.

I had no idea where I were when digging up, the tunnel that I accidentally plunged into your house came from my big mine under Thorncombe.

Just because I haven't posted in 4 hours doesn't mean I'm only going to be active on the server. But unlike most of you I'm not glued to my screen waiting and checking a forum every 30 seconds.

Either way I'm not one to post to many things.

It's big, it's got a moat, and everything is timed and automated. Dosent get any better. :p
 
It's amazing that members can "warn" others about slow-chatting, and yet proceed to do it here.

The amount of off-topic, or near-empty posts in this thread is alarming. Keep it on-topic - not just a race for higher post counts.

Nice. If I buy it will it come with all the chests in your castle too? :p

I've also started work on (hopefully) a large city in singleplayer. That's all I'll be saying about it for now though. :)

EDIT: Just found this on Minecraft's facebook page:

The date for 1.8 is expected to be released this week. I saw jeb_ scratching his head to make this happen. So it must be a good thing :)
